[20:12] <Wayland> "Alright. You round up whatever people can reliably stand up straight, I'll go get my boys and some supplies." Wayland says.
[20:14] <Kotono> "Hold on," Balyss shakes her head, "That's the rub: It's evening and half of the good people are drunk. We don't need to rush this. These rumors aren't new; we have time to sober up, get friends and do this the right way."
[20:17] <Wayland> "Waiting too long is not good, I don't know what they're doing with Andrea, but I'm sure it's not good." Wayland frowns. "How long will you need?"
[20:19] <Kotono> "At the earliest, dawn. I'll have my full magics prepared and should be dried out by then," With a half-confident smile, "What about the rest of your group?"
[20:20] <Wayland> "I'm sure I can wrangle them together by then." Wayland nods.
[20:21] <Kotono> "Right. We'll meet in front of Moonholm," Balyss says, rubbing the side of her head.
[20:25] <Wayland> "Ok. I'll see you then." Wayland heads back into the party to find his friends.
[21:04] <Kotono> Thus Wayland goes to find his friends. Amid the festive revere he finds Janson and Sylvie, just rising and heading towards a cluster of dancing.
[21:05] <Wayland> "Hey guys!" Wayland waves at them. "Over here!"
[21:06] * Janson takes a swig of their shared bottle of liquor and hands it back to Sylvie before turning at the voice. "Oh, hey! It's Wayland!" he grins, rosy-cheeked and cheerful. "Lets go see what he wants?"
[21:07] <Kotono> "Heya Wayland," Sylvie waves and weaves along, arm and arm with Janson as she approaches. A happy smile is on her face, cheeks flushed.
[21:09] <Wayland> "Hello. I'm sorry to ruin your fun, but we have a problem." Wayland says, his face serious. "Andrea has been abducted."
[21:10] <Kotono> "Oh?" Sylvie grins from ear to ear, "By some handsome, tall, rich, charming and with a unicorn to ride on sort of guy?"
[21:11] <Wayland> "By fey. Balyss and I were then attacked by a nymph and they attempted to wipe our memories."
[21:12] <Janson> "What?!" Janson stares at Wayland, then abruptly looks away and burps, shaking his head a moment before refocusing. "What kind of party were you two at?! Three, even!" his eyes scan around at the harmlessly celebrating people all around.
[21:14] <Kotono> "A damn good one," Sylvie opines, rubbing her eyes, "You're kidding, right?"
[21:18] <Wayland> "Balyss asked us to check out a grove near here that she believed to be haunted. Since we were sober, it seemed we were available. We found no ghosts, but plenty of animals, and a perfect circle of trees. When we stepped inside, we wound up in another world, with a purple sky. After looking for some clues, we were approached by a group of pixies, who convinced Andrea that she was a princess and
[21:18] <Wayland> that she needed to come with them. After they flew off with her, we tried to follow but were blocked by a wall of stone that rose from the ground. Then a nymph came from the hedges around us and attempted to enthrall me. After fending her off, we were encouraged to leave. I planned on returning to make sure Andrea was alright. As we were leaving, I could feel my mind twisting and my memories of
[21:18] <Wayland> Andrea fading. It was only with strong concentration that I maintained my memories of her and what happened. They tried to make us forget she even existed!" Wayland says grimly.
[21:19] <Kotono> "They're bad karma going on," Balyss adds, "I had no idea we'd find that or it would run so deep! It just sounded like a fun idea at the time!"
[21:19] <Janson> "Paksan grove!" Janson snaps his fingers. "I've been meaning to check that place out!"
[21:20] <Janson> roll 1d20+12 knowledge nature for fey realms and any special traits/rules I should know?
[21:20] <Janson> OOC: take 10 for 22
[21:24] <Janson> "If it's nymphs and pixies, it's probably a Seelie realm... they're not usually dangerous just to walk around in, at least. But if they've abducted Andrea, we need to get her back!" Janson declares, raising his free arm, the other still around Sylvie. "Who's with me?"
[21:25] <Wayland> "Well, we are. We need to get Aaeru and some supplies."
[21:26] <Janson> "Uh... Aaeru left, we think," Janson shrugs and looks around. "Haven't seen her since we came back from Tymora's temple, have we?" he glances at Sylvie.
[21:27] <Kotono> "Uh huh," Sylvie nods, "Get Josa to go find her or something...say, get Silver too," she snaps her fingers, "Takes a fey to know a fey."
[21:29] <Janson> "Okay," Janson takes a deep breath, trying to sober up. "I'll go see Josa and grab Silver, and ask if he knows where Aaeru lives. Wayland, why don't you go to the House of Suffering, see if they know where to find her? Then we'll go get her and meet up back here?"
[21:30] <Wayland> "We have until dawn to get everything in place. I'll find the boys and Aaeru. I have some supplies to get as well. You two sober up and get Josa and anything else you think will be useful."
[21:31] <Janson> "Think Josa'll have any potions for that?" Janson asks Sylvie hopefully.
[21:45] <Kotono> "Worth a try..." she mutters, as you go off. Whilst Wayland finds the other two, Janson and Sylvie go to get Josa. He's roused from his sleep, meeting the two upstairs in Whimisical Sweets. With a deep yawn, "But candy and elfswood," he rubs his eyes, "What's with this middle of the night interruption?"
[21:46] <Janson> "Wayland and Andrea went into a mystical fey realm with the lunatic paladin, and now Andrea's been kidnapped!" Janson explains. "We need to find Aaeru, and maybe borrow Silver, so we can go rescue her!"
[21:50] <Kotono> "Hmph." Josa rubs the bridge of his nose, "So in essence, the fey have taken Andrea...why? A game? Perhaps this is a grand over-reaction?"
[21:50] <Janson> "I... dunno," Janson stops, blinking and glancing at Sylvie. "Considering it was Wayland who told us... oh! But Balyss was there, too. She's not... y'know, towards fey," he nods, reassured.
[21:52] <Kotono> "There are two issues," Josa says, "Assuming it's not a misunderstanding. The first, the fey are taking action here. This could be...problematic. The second?" Josa scowls, "No one steals my employees off into another realm. I won't permit it."
[21:54] <Janson> "Yeah, well, at the very least we should go there and hear things from Andrea. If it's all just a misunderstanding that's great, but if it's not, we can't really chance it," Janson nods amidst his rambling. "So do you know where Aaeru actually lives? 'Cause none of us do."
[21:57] <Kotono> Josa pauses, going downstairs. He comes back up with Silver, the latter with a nasty scowl on her face. She wears a light white cotton nightgown, hair frizzed out in every direction, "...fat-ass elf, but if this isn't the end of the world, I'm going to hurt you for waking me up," she scowls, then right to Janson, "Hey, is this the end of the world?"
[21:58] <Kotono> At that Josa clears his throat, "As I am about to say," she says, "Silver, I need you to go find Aaeru. Would you mind telling my familiar why?"
[21:59] <Janson> "Not yet, but it could be the end of some fey realm if that counts as a world, depending on whether they've hurt Andrea or not," Janson replies, unflinching from the diminuitive fairy's scowl! "She's been kidnapped by a bunch of pixies and nymphs, and we don't know if it's the fun type of kidnapping yet."
[22:02] <Kotono> "Oh, the FUUUN type!" Silver giggles, "I didn't think Andrea was that sort of girl, so it's probably not." With a hand on her hip, "Aaeru, huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going."
[22:03] <Janson> "Great! Get dressed and we'll meet you downstairs!" Janson nods, glad to have secured her cooperation.
[22:04] <Kotono> Silver is soon dressed, Sylvie yawning as she comes down. "Even if we get those drinks from Josa for energy, we'll be exhausted after this," she observes, "This is going to ruin our sleep cycles, you know." Meanwhile Silver starts to hover in the air, "Follow along," she calls, "I'll find Aaeru."
[22:06] <Janson> "We can just take tomorrow off to recover, nothing else for it," Janson sighs, following after Silver. "Pity, things were going so well for us, too," he laments.
[22:07] <Kotono> "
[22:08] <Kotono> "Shush!" Silver turns, "Keep it down, I have to concentrate to find someone like this," she says, "If I lose concentration the magic fizzles!"
[22:08] * Janson almost apologises but shuts his mouth instead, nodding.
[22:10] <Kotono> Thus out of Balmuria the two go, finding themselves wandering. The shore is dotted with little coves and such, Silver coming to the entrance to one. "In here," she mutters, and then raises her voice, "AAERU! HEY AAERU! YOU ALIVE IN THERE?"
[22:14] <Aaeru> A startled squawk answers Silver, followed by the sounds of scrambling and culminating with the appearance of a disheveled Aaeru who just stares at Silver and Janson in confusion.
[22:15] <Janson> "Sorry, Aaeru, but Andrea's been kidnapped," Janson blurts out in reply to her obvious confusion. "She and Wayland went to some fairy realm with Balyss but only Wayland and Balyss came back. We're going to rescue her!"
[22:16] <Kotono> "Didn't interrupt anything, did we?" Sylvie says with utter sweetness, "But yeah, invading fey or something, Andrea kidnapped, we're gonna go make it right."
[22:16] * Aaeru focuses on Janson as he speaks, blinking a few times. "What?"
[22:18] <Janson> "Ugh... Wayland can explain better, he was there. Or Balyss," Janson shrugs embarrassedly. "There's some portal in Paksan Grove near the Moonhold, the pixies said Andrea was a princess and vanished with her then kicked the other two out. Come on, sooner we get back sooner you can hear it from them?"
[22:19] <Aaeru> "Umm... sure?" Aaeru nods to herself. "Sure! Give me a moment?" She disappears again.
[22:19] * Janson glances at Sylvie and shrugs mutely.
[22:20] * Aaeru returns a minute later, all tidied up if devoid of her usual energy. "Let's go save Andrea?"
[22:21] <Janson> "Lets!" Janson agrees, mustering some energy despite the late hour and long walk ahead!
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake
