I don't see why people are so bashin' on that type of thing.  I'm pretty down for it generally.

Sadly there are no reasonable grid-systems.
Well, Goodbye.

I'm seconding the interest in Grimdark Future Evangelion.  Especially after the fact that I mostly enjoyed the Dark Heresy game I played in, and took a look at the PDF.

Looks like it could be fun.

-Back To Your Roots:  A Pathfinder dungeon crawl wrapped in the conceit that you are playing one of those old late-80's D&D games (.  Embarassingly, this is the most successful gaming formula I ever had.  I'd unfortunately need a reasonable grid-system to run it online, since it's really just combat and light puzzle-solving -- but sometimes?  You just want to throw some dice.

...yeah, that's all I got.

I'm down for playing in this.  Even possibly play by post, so a grid could simply be posted with each DM post :)

*starts the chant* Run, Run, Run, Run.
Well, Goodbye.

Good lord, Phil -- that'd be so much work.

How about once I move to Redwood City we find a few additional unwitting players and just run it with an actual map at a real table?
I handle other fanfic authors Nanoha-style.  Grit those teeth!  C&C incoming!
Prepare to be befriended!

But if you do it PBP, you'll get your post count up and make Drac happy, Brian! ^_~
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

I'm putting together notes for a Giant Robo RPG set in San Francisco, using the FATE engine (behind such popular releases as Spirit of the Century or the Dresden Files RPG).

This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.
