State Alchemist Douglas Sinclair inadvertently swaps bodies with Fluttershy's abusive Royal Guard coltfriend, Wind Racer. Wind Racer cheats, lies, and backstabs his way to controlling the FMA world as der Fuehrer. Eventually the Mane Six rushes in to clean up the mess while making a bunch of bigoted assumptions about humans. Far more FMA than MLP.

This setup plays out a lot less crazily than it sounds, somehow.

Omakes. Omakes everywhere! And some of them are pretty good too! The fandoms for Fanfics get that way when they grow larger.

I liked that Percy Jackson/Dresden Files one he had. Shame he didn't continue that one.

Read the fic when you'd posted the link for disk 3.  Well written, but was thinking that it felt like DBZ: "He's powering up!  And then, he'll power up!  And then, casually curbstomp something horrific, which will let him power up in another way!"  Then I read The Gamer, and realized that is the heart of the crossover. 

I have the feeling that the writer is implicitly aluding to certain features of RWBY canon, which I'm not getting because I haven't watched RWBY.  I'll probably get around to watching it (once I stop obsessing over AI war), and then give the fic another shot.

So, The Games We Play is the best thing I've read in quite a while. I read it on ff.net first, and when I found out that only about half of it was posted there it made my day. Also, new updates coming out very frequently. I just hope they keep coming.

Which is Sage of Toad's latest...something.  I dunno, I'm done.  It feels like a cross between Harry Potter and Hellsing Abridged.  No one feels the least bit serious in the first 1.5 chapters, so I'm done.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/4052439/17/The-Truth-Decays also read this recently.  It portrays an impressively shitty Konoha.  I probably won't continue because really it's hard to read about a ninja village that has so little worth saving.  "Hey Full Metal Ed, you've got strange powers.  To figure this out, here's your trip to guatanamo bay~."  Like an enormous amount of screentime is devoted to the ninja village (the nice one), being insufferable shits.  We want to know something?  Hardcore interrogation and torture.  We get ordered to stop it?  We stick death seals on him.  Yadda yadda.  Reminds me a bit of Altered History, where folks would try and get their own teammates killed.
