FSN fic:
I'm between you and Ko.  On one hand, NeoAlpha's other FSN xovers have interesting parts.  On the other hand, those fics didn't take an intro from another fic and remove all the parts where anything of plot significance or character presentation actually happened.

I just finished catching up to this one. The timeskip is jarring at first, but the flashback arc eases you into things. Haruno's (who's my favorite character by far) been done exceptionally well. Her destructive curiosity's always fun to see fold out. It isn't yet at the meat of things, but it's going to be soon judging from the build-up.

This one's also good. Haruno's great here too. The narrative style's also in line with the source material which is a plus, well, in most cases.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8034380/1/Harry-Potter-and-the-Garden-of-Intrigue Got further in this one and then stopped at the delivery of the first big delivered change.  Okay, Harry has a book on flower names.  So puzzles out the symbolic meaning for Snape's questions.  Then Ron of all people gets super sympathetic to snape as they discuss it.  Yeah, this just isn't quite selling me.  It feels like cliffnotes were handed out all of a sudden, rather than anything personal.

Another story by Vathara, all 10 chapters of which appeared over the course of a single day.  It's a crossover involving Artemis Fowl and Avengers of all things.  I have to say that I enjoyed it, even though much of that probably comes from finally finding a some decent Artemis Fowl fanfiction.  I think the settings go fairly well together and Vathara always has been pretty good at worldbuilding.

A lot of that type start with an interesting premise "So and so does so and so"...and then really spiral hard into 'okay, we can't even see the original universe from here'.
