"That's not quite what I meant," Kascha stays on the armor, "It's just...to us, this isn't anything special. But to mortals, this armor could be a legend, the raiment of heroes. I don't know, something about this struck me oddly."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"I sort of get you," Jaela muses. "Still, even for us a suit of armor made by Lathander and retrieved from his sun is a big deal. You could tell the story to your and Morniel's kids, and their kids, and it'd still be fresh and entertaining!"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Kascha turns bright red at that, "Morniel and I's children?! What?"
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Grandchildren, too," Jaela helpfully adds. "That's how big a deal it is!"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Kascha's next reply is a rather incoherent sputter.

"Ahem," Mirajane clears her throat, "We should continue on."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

"Kascha, what can you tell us about that blue orb?" Afina asks to distract the easily flustered ghaele.

Anastasia

> roll 1d20+46 Kascha spellcraft
<Kobot> Kotono rolled 1d20+46 Kascha spellcraft --> [ 1d20=4 ]{50}

"It'll transport us," Kascha says, "And scatter us about the maze."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

"Could try dispelling it, or just using dimensional locks to prevent any teleportation. Thoughts?" Afina asks. She can cast dimensional anchor but chain-casting it would be a pain in her current state.

Anastasia

"A summoned creature is fine as well," Kascha suggests, "I think it'll fade like the disintegration orb."

<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

"I can manage that then," Afina says, calling forth a horde of fire elementals!

Using Elemental Swarm sla.
[18:57] <@Ebiris> roll 2d4 large fire elementals
[18:57] <Kobot> Ebiris rolled 2d4 large fire elementals --> [ 2d4=7 ]{7}

A whole seven of them appear, ready to answer Afina's call! "Go through that room and wait," she instructs them in crackling Ignan, sending the septuplets through!

Spoiler: ShowHide

Afina 185+20/185 (-2 con), greater mage armour (CL 23), greater heroism (CL 23), fortunate fate (CL 25)
AC 60 (touch 46, flat footed 60), spell resistance 38, blindsense 30, immunity to fire, disease, water, poison, fear. 50% spell failure.
Spell charges remaining: 6/8/8/8/9/7/8/7/6/7
Goldenfire exposure: 3/7

The moment the seven are into the room, the blue orb flashes light. It vanishes away, as do the elementals - simply gone, out of sight and who knows where now.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Surraruthru twists his head to look around the room, eyeing it for anything that might be a back-up, more mundane trap.
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Ebiris

"Maybe we'll run into them later?" Afina wonders amusedly, flying in now that the way is clear.

Anastasia

Search, Surraruthru.

The room is like the previous one. There are passages to the east and west here. The passage to the east goes on 15ft before sloping downwards and out of sight, while the passage to the west goes 40ft before turning north once more.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Always go East, right? Seeing no reason to question that, Afina takes the downwards sloping passage.
