It wasn't a spell, Jaela knows that much with her spellcraft. Ah, she remembers now. She's faced this enemy before. A solar's rictus, a horrible thing that fires light that damages and destroys the morality of its victims.

Smites and other good aligned things (such as holy damage) do not apply to a solar's rictus. It's treated as being good aligned for such effects. What's your damage without those?

Difference between smite and normal lancing is 96. 275-96 results in a final damage tally of 179.

Hanna's axe swiftly cuts down the last cornugon of the previous battle, causing it to collapse into ash and leave its possessions behind. Not hat those get much of a look in the situation.

Jaela charges the floating skull, meeting it just below the a slab. She stabs into it, but finds it hard. Her holy light stops around it, becoming strangely harmless. Even as goldenfire burns the skull and skeleton, the latter rasps, "Aurora...Jaela of Aurora." It cackles, "How long have I wanted to dissect your body! Yes, come here! Come here!"

On the other side, Canderella slowly stretches and looks at her limbs. She then looks at Mei, shaking her head. "This is almost nostalgic, but I'm on the wrong end of this," she muses, before sending a negligent wave at the cornugons. "Go away."

Lightning blasts the cornugons, leaping amid them. Yet the half-dead fiends are still fast, dodging the worst of the volley. A few stagger from hard shocks, but the majority are still just fine. "Hm? Still alive? Someone be a dear and fix that, would you?"

Over in the other battle, Moonlight bracers herself, still glowing with sunlight. She advances at a steady sprint, running under Jaela and right for the skeleton.

Wispy magic forms - an ethereal field, mage armor crumbling. Perhaps it might have stood the blow before, but as the magic finishes crumbling from Jaela's dispel, it does nothing to stop Moonlight's mace. The skull of the skeleton is shattered into a thousand pieces, the body twitching before goldenfire and holy white light consume it, causing it to burn to ash before you. Moonlight smirks, looking upward now.

As noted before, inspire courage has now expired.

Mirajane's bolt shoots true, hitting the rictus right in the side of the skull. It causes a deep crack there, little bits of broken bone falling to the ground. It reels from the blast, trying to regain it's equilibrium.

Hanna is a mere 10ft from the entry way Jaela made. She can see it as it enters - massive and yet passing through with unnatural ease. An enemy that has hurt her and her family before, reaving Jaela's life from her like a cheap trinket. A Nessian Pit Fiend enters and roars as loud as it can, "HELL AWAITS YOU!" It carries no visible weapon or armor, yet its sheer presence makes the room shake.

It's joining init.
