"Okay, let's have a look!"

Meanwhile, Tryll manifests Psychic Chirurgery!

Your call what I can do with this. Not using it ti transfer powers, just trying to excise corruption or damage.
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Tryll's senses are filled with darkness. A cold, suffocating darkness that swallows the light of Aurora and leaves nothing behind. It is a contempt, a sheer contempt that leaves Tryll numb and reeling. It is like taking a mouthful of evil and swallowing it down, every moment his body growing more and more polluted.

Then it stops. Tryll shakes his head and clears the bombardment of sensations away. It's like Rosa's mind is drowning in darkness, a shadow looming all over her body. But on the good side, you can see it's slowly weakening and fading - ever so slowly. You helped clear her mind, though it still regenerates and replenishes. From your knowledge of psionics and religion, you can tell that the root cause is not in her mind, but in her soul. A spiritual poison, a contact that intertwined a speck of something unspeakably vile into her spirit.

There's unfortunately not a lot to do. It's a battle that has to be waged on her own, though you can tell that it looks good for her.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Yuthirin

"...kay. So it's most definitely a spiritual problem. Her soul's got gunk on it. Like poison. She's doing a good job fighting it though, but we're not really equipped for actual soul manipulation. Not without some serious prep work and a lot of scary knives! We don't have the knives, so we can't help too much, but anything known to purge evil would help. Probably. She looks like she's winning, though, so she might come back normal. Or she'll come back crazy town! Dunno really." Calleigh says after a few minutes of fluttering in place.

"The contact was remarkably brief," Morniel murmurs, going back to resting a hand on Rosa's forehead. "Plus her soul had time to pass on. The properties of the Well of Souls may have helped, as well as the Triune's touch and the Jarl's magic. Thank you, Tryll and Calleigh."

"So she'll probably be fine then?"

"Yes," Morniel says, "The prognosis is good." He sighs slightly, "Still, I know the Hebdomad will bless her, for even if she follows Arborea instead of Celestia, they have no love for Baator. Raziel's fires burn away the impurities within her, while Ilmater's touch takes her suffering away. So it will always be," He murmurs a few words in Celestial thereafter, a glow of pale white light coming from his hand on Rosa's forehead.. "Amen."

And if I were still Muirfinn, I'd be very concerned about what he just said!

Calleigh nods. "Alrighty then. You need anything further from us?"

Anastasia

Why's that?

"Nothing," Morniel says, "The greatest enemy Rosa has to overcome is herself and her weapon is time."

AMEN

Calleigh gives Morniel a big cheery grin and two tiny thumbs-ups. She turns to Moore. "Hi!"

Moore smiles at Calleigh. "Hello again. Actually, you two may already know, but... tomorrow, the battle for the rift... will probably end up being a bigger fight than what we expected to happen today." Moore says. His expression is serious, but he isn't frowning. "The good news is that we'll have some new allies, though I don't know who they are..."

Would Moore have been able to catch the Celestial? He does speak it, if it matters.

Anastasia

Yes. You can tell they're close to the Words of Creation, a benediction for peace and life.

"I know." Morniel says, gravely. "This is not my preferred battlefield, for this may not be a war of words. No, this is a clash of steel and sorcery."

Nephrite

Moore nods. "I agree. However, diplomatically, there may be some people that can be swayed. If I can offer any assistance, let me know."

Anastasia

"I will," Morniel promises.

Moore and Tryll, anything else either of you want to finish off?

Moore'd check on Beniel, but beyond that no.

Yuthirin

"Yay! We get to rearrange some faces of evil guys!"
