Vindication, although the situation at the entrance suggested as much. Now she just needs to get an estimate of strength....

As you do, suddenly you hear Mirima call out, "Jaela!" The waters around you are turning pink.

Fort save, you three. It's poison in case you're immune.

[Corwin]

Grabbing onto Ellese and Mirima, Jaela shifts the three of them just above the upper door to the building, outside.

Ellese doesn't even gag, while Mirima holds her hands over her face, coughing. But Jaela's quicker, the two instantly appearing above the tower from her dimension door.

"Let's get them for this!" Jaela exclaims, tapping Mirima's shoulder to imbue her with Neutralize Poison. "Mirima, put our Knock scroll to use. Ellese, let's see if Mirror Image is useful underwater."

Given where Aurora is, it might be a good thing to settle that one question.

[Anastasia]

Mirima goes to the door and pulls out her scroll from her bag. It's wet immediately, but she quickly reads it off before the waters ruin it. The door here pops open, as meanwhile Ellese casts mirror image. On a glance, you can see it works, but does create a lack of water moving and displacement. The observant could probably pick right up on that.

"If you sense anything, let me know," she calls back to Mirima and Ellese.

[Anastasia]

This room opens up into a small chamber, an open hole in the ground leading down. A single sahuagin is staring as the three of you enter, floating above the hole. "Eh? Hey, that door's supposed to be locked," it burbles at you, "Enter at the bottom."

[Corwin]

"Funny thing!" Jaela tells back with a grin, swiftly evoking one of her lesser used magics. "Downstairs is filled with poison!"

"Oh. OH! OH! AAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!" The sahuagin falls over, clutching its sides as it gives into insane laughter.

"Ah well, glad the devil hires minions who can laugh," Mirima drawls, already heading downward.

[Corwin]

It wouldn't last forever, but a few minutes is an eternity in combat. Now considering the sahuagin out of it, Jaela follows Mirima while cackling. Might as well get in character for this!

[Anastasia]

Ellese frowns, "You sound like a triumphant pit fiend," she observes in elven, as you sim below. It leads into what looks like a reception room. It's nice here, seaweed woven into couches and divans to rest on. Pottery of all shapes and type are about, as well as little jars with tiny, sculpted trees of coral and sea shells growing form them. A female mermaid swims by one, clad in a seashell bra and miniskirt. She's adjusting one of the pots, just starting to turn as the party swims on down.

Archways lead to the north and east.

"Hello!" Jaela greets her, even as her eyes look for any and all signs of evil. "Your boss just tried to kill us after letting us in as guests, so we're a bit upset! Have you seen where he fled, by any chance?"

[Anastasia]

The mermaid takes one look at the trio before screaming as lout as she can and turning tail, swimming away to the north and through the archway there.
