Gossiping (Afina)

[Ebiris]

"Tannin, Canderella," Afina gives the pair a friendly nod as she flutters on by. She doubts it was that innocent if Canderella's involved, but it's probably private and surely none of her business.

[Anastasia]

Afina reaches her quarters with no further interruptions. Soon enough she's sobered up and in good order once more. She's just finished getting dressed for the day when there's a loud pounding on her door. "Yo!" Dana's voice, alright. "Afina, Elena says you're in there, so get your bony pixie ass up!"

[Ebiris]

Taking just a second longer to recast her habitual day long spells, Afina flies over and opens the door to see what the ruckus is all about. "Morning, Dana. What is it?" she asks.

[Anastasia]

"The fucking moon's out, that's what." Dana says, "Out above Water and shining down."

[Ebiris]

"Are Balyss or Stille around?" Afina asks after their two highest ranking Selunites, starting to fly towards a portal that'll take her outside where she can have a look at this unexpected astronomical phenomenon!

[Anastasia]

"Yeah, Stille's out there," Dana calls as you flutter off.

[Ebiris]

"Not coming along, or were you just playing messenger for Elena?" Afina asks since Dana's not going with her.

[Anastasia]

"Just playing messenger. I swear, she's fucking laughing at me right now," Dana grouses, "But Dana," she does too deep impression of Elena's voice, "I want to watch the moon!"

[Ebiris]

"I'm sure she can see it from anywhere," Afina agrees with that assessment. "See you later," she says, continuing on to investigate. She doubts it's anything dangerous but it's surely an exciting once in a lifetime astronomical occurrence either way!

[Anastasia]

Afina heads out. Sure enough, the moment she steps out of the entry hall, she sees Water above Aurora has turned moonlight white/silver. The moon shines on down through Water, visible above it.

[Ebiris]

Surely they'll need to mount an expedition to this aquatic satellite, but in the meantime Afina hunts down Stille amongst the gawkers for some Selunite theology on such events.

[Anastasia]

Stille is further ahead, the courtyard full of were creatures of all kinds. He is speaking to them, arms spread wide and up, "And look, as you asked you have been answered!" he says, "She is wise and knows all, and will offer guidance when all seems darkest."

[Ebiris]

Afina flies over the lycanthropes and listens to Stille's sermon rather than interrupting with her own questions. She can hopefully get the gist of things that way. It sounds good, though!

[Anastasia]

"Now look," Stille gestures above, "Selune's light shines down on us all! She did not even wait for Balyss's presence to do so. Great and wise is she, and let your praise for her rise up to meet her light."

[Ebiris]

Now that he mentions it, isn't that a bit of a snub to Balyss? While everyone does that praising thing she flies over beside Stille so she can talk to him, "So, do we just bathe in the moonlight or is there an implied invitation to go visit here?" she asks.
