You look around - and find a secret door. One against a wall near the lake, set so it only opens from the other side. It might be possible to force and one could just destroy it, of course.

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

"Ahh, there we go. Smrgol, bash it down?" she asks her dragon, going to step back while he lumbers over and does just that!

Smrgol bashes the door right down. It takes a few tries, but she bulls it open. It leads into a hall with a crude stairway going up.

Ebiris

"Good job. Keep alert for traps, remember," Afina says, taking the lead up those stairs at a sedate and alert pace.

Anastasia

Listen check, Afina. You're the only one who can reasonably  make this.

As you begin to walk up the stairs - a bit of a hassle for your size - you hear the softest twang of bowstrings.

"Archers up ahead," Afina warns, preparing to dodge any that come her way. Mei and Dana should be fine behind Smrgol and he can heal any damage they do, which is fairly unlikely to start with. She doesn't increase her pace though since it seems a good way to lure someone into charging into a trap no doubt far nastier than any arrows.

Anastasia

Indeed, Smrgol takes most of the way ahead on point. He goes up a little more before he sees arrows come down at him from above.

Arrows rain down on Smrgol, but they all bounce off his hide. They come from 50ft up the stair, a trio of harpies standing they. They have bows at the ready, loathsome and ugly creatures. They're already readying another round of arrows.

Init here. Due to a giant golem hogging the stairs, doing things past him is rather tricky, so bear that in mind.

"Flame them, Smrgol," Afina says, not bothering to exercise herself over such feeble opposition.

She holds

But they bounce off Smrgol like raindrops, doing nothing to the oversized golem dragon.
