The Great Druid Hunt (Jaela)

[Anastasia]

"Thanks," He clasps your hand and rises with your help. "I know several, and well fought. Far better than I expected for a little fairy."

"Some of us have fangs," Crystal says, deadpan. "Honor is satisfied."

"Fangs bigger than your body," The giant rubs his shoulder, "Looking for any in particular?"

[Corwin]

"Not by name, no," Jaela responds. "Just anyone that fits the criteria! Restless celestials looking for a cause or celestials happy to have a friendly fight."

[Anastasia]

"There was a great one until a few decades ago. Name's Strength of Light, but he's taken now," The giant says, "Damned shame, he's always busy now. Oh, there's Anagormos, a tulani war band leader."

[Corwin]

"Anagormos it is," Jaela decides. "Point us the right way?"

[Anastasia]

"You'll need to find the Valley of Fire and Ice. You can teleport there, it's where he keeps his warband. They might not be there, but if they're gone, they'll usually be back within a few weeks."

[Corwin]

"Thanks!" Another salute with Gae Bolg, and Jaela shifts the three of them to their next destination!

You stand amid fires. The valley's ground burn around pools of lava, ground further broke up by great, jagged shards of ice jutting from the ground. Heat and cold simultaneously freeze and warm you, a nonsensical combination that numbs and burns at the same time. Looking up, you see that the great shards of ice are connected by wood bridges, with tents and cabins atop the shards.

On the bridges warfare goes, warriors dueling to pass and advance on. All one versus one battles, often with allies on both sides holding back and watching.

Jaela gains a bit of altitude, looking out for a leader. Tulani or not, there's bound to be at least two given the way the battles are progressing.

You fly up with Hanna and Crystal. You see it's a sprawling expanse of these, but off to the northern side is a huge cabin that sits above all the others, where blue and red pennants fly.

"Triune, am I hearing right?" Hanna murmurs, looking to the sky as she follows you.

"They say that hearing's the first thing to go."

[Anastasia]

"Ahem!" Crystal cuts in and loudly clears her throat, "Can we spare the verbal sparring until after your mission is complete? I still feel mildly unwell."

"Anything for you, Crystal!" Jaela readily agrees.
