Jaela hops and leaps along, narrowly missing water several times and almost slipping more than once. Fortunately, after a few hundred feet she reaches the bottom. Here is a frozen lake, your feet numb the moment they touch it. The water hits it and goes right into the ice without melting.

It goes in all directions. Far ahead in each cardinal direction is a small shrine building, made of blue ice.

"I made it down!" Jaela calls over to the others. "Pretty slippery and lots of fun! Also, pretty sure that's where we're supposed to go!"

"Well, do you two want to follow Jaela's example, or take her advice and have me teleport us all down?" Afina asks the remaining two angels up at the lip of the pit.

[Anastasia]

"Teleport us, please," Mirajane sends, and then stops. "Except it's not going to work. I don't think we have a choice but to try now."

"That's that then," Afina says as the easy way is denied them. Now they have to do as Jaela does instead of as Jaela says! "I'll go next," she casts greater heroism on herself and then on both Hanna and Mirajane for an extra boost beyond Good Hope before hopping and skipping her way down the platforms!

Woah! It's harder than Afina thinks, needing to balance carefully and nearly falling or plunging into a stream of water several times. Close calls are only close calls, and Afina eventually reaches the bottom safely, her stomach in her throat from the near misses.
