"Oh, thank you. We'll go do that after bathing. Can never have too many outfits," Afina says happily.

Soon enough you're there. Bubbles goes into her closet and comes out with a little dress. It has a wide, flared skirt and is otherwise a typical pixie one piece. Except this one glitters with all the colors of the rainbow, as if cloth of a dozen hues was expertly blended together.

"A little thing for everyday wear, that shows what you are without being too over the top, but with room for accessories of your own."

Afina leans in to study the outfit before nodding in approval. "I like the cut," she says, fingering the flared skirt. "And the colours do represent me well. Let me try it on," she takes off her feathered capelet before stripping out of her pristine (and oft prestidigitated after that trip to Magma) white dress before slipping into this new garment.

It fits perfectly. It's soft and smooth, like tight but not too tight silk. It shimmers with colors as you move.

Bubbles claps, "It's not meant for combat but for casual wear, or maybe a casual court function."

Running her hands down her sides to smooth out the fabric, Afina twists around a little to survey herself before looking in the mirror approvingly. Her hat currently in its silver hairpiece mode from the old dress is re-formed back in its traditional twintailed style with a matching colour scheme to the rest of her outfit. "I'll have to get you something later to return the gift, I like it," she says at last.

"Thank you, dearie. Now..."

What happens next is fun for everyone and passes some time most wonderfully. After that...

Any idea on what you were going to get for her?

'Later' was a nebulous term for 'not immediately'. Since I have very little money.

Aaaah yes, the problems of being currently being broke. I feel ya. Got anything else on the agenda right now?

Since Kascha's back I'll go talk to her about how to forge a key out of those goldenfire embers for a lock we've never seen.
