Ships? Check. Demiplane? Check.

Adrian, Jaela, Moore, Calleigh and Tryll gather together to hash everything out. "First thing," Adrian begins, filling in Jaela on the diabolical offer. "Afina suggested this was in your wheelhouse and deferred to you."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

"Better than I feared, worse than I hoped," Jaela muses as she goes over the missive, finally getting a chance to rest and relax. "I'll handle it. Is anyone particularly interested of putting in an appearance, aside from myself?"

"Afina and I had a suggestion about symbolism, Ebony would be a good choice. Beyond that..." Adrian trails off as he thinks, "Maybe Tryll in case they try a more exotic form of attack with a psionic?"

"I want us to bring four people," Jaela says, grinning. "Let them choke on that. Ebony? She'd be my first choice, yeah, unless I could bribe Antenora into coming instead." She'll let Tryll speak for himself as for his interests, merely nodding her agreement.

"Either way, we're waiting till we have a hard counter to the Duke of Destiny. The time they've given us allows us a few days of grace, so with a bit of luck we'll finally crack that."

Yuthirin

"We can do it!" Calleigh says, "I dunno what exactly you need, but we're on the case!"
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Anastasia

"I'd suggest Morniel as well, this is his field of battle. Moore's good at that too," Adrian remarks.

"I'm not married to the death number," Jaela says, nodding at Calleigh. "Morniel is obvious, given he set this up. We'll make the final decision once we know if we have a defense against the Duke's bullshit, and how it works."

"Oh! Oh oh oh! We're working on that, too!"

"That's the next thing," Adrian says, "Tryll and friends found a demiplane or some such. Care to explain?"

"As for Taelfagn, I think I could muster something on a small scale." Moore says. "I'm by no means an expert in the art yet, but I'm confident I could prevent something -- if you'd like, I can work with the numerologist who just joined us on something in the short term. As for the demiplane... it's a creation of one of Tryll's people, along with the owner. It currently contains an ocean and a rather robust lab, among other things, considering how long they've had to work on it."

Yuthirin

'Certainly.' Tryll broadcasts to the room, 'Calleigh and I have recently been researching counters for the Duke of Destiny. The way he manipulates destiny has allowed him to become a paragon, a devil of singular importance. As such, he is exceedingly difficult to counter. This isn't really acceptable for the people of Lifasa.

We spoke with Lathander recently about becoming paragons ourselves in order to set ourselves up as a proper counter, and he recommended we also find ways to manipulate destiny. In turn, we obtained a divination from Balyss which pointed us toward numerology. We sought out Glitterosm in Brightwater, who had a relationship with Muirfinn in the past. He agreed to assist us, and we have begun seeking out the remaining members of my race in order to reforge our destiny.

While doing so, we found Gytha, who has been afflicted with severe loneliness. He appears to have been attempting to recreate the irrigo race from nothing, essentially creating life, alchemically. He has a demiplane on the Deep Ethereal, and he has agreed to join us. We're hoping to attach his demiplane to Aurora.'

"Works. Elena, do you think the integration will go smoothly?"

"We've done it with Baleruk's lair and others before," Elena pops into being in front of all you, still dressed up like Calleigh. "I'd want to see the demiplane in question first, since they're like snowflakes - every one's different."

"Can you actually leave Aurora?" Moore asks. "I guess I never thought about that question before."

Corwin

"I haven't managed to make it happen yet, but Elena means going there with the Aurora to take a look," Jaela elaborates in place of their spirit. "Let's take care of that once everyone is back. Who are we currently missing?"
