Afina reclaims her seat as Jaela delivers the book. If the devils think she can't do anything in the case of tricks just because she's not right on top of Jaela they'll be disappointed.

Jaela nods, relying on Priest, Mirajane and Tryll to keep a close eye over the medical proceedings.

[Anastasia]

There's simply a flash of red power followed by a moment of pitch darkness.

When it clears, Martinet is sitting once more. "He will recover," he says, running his fingers along the book with The Father within.

"He will," Priest agrees after examining him briefly, "His mind is returning."

[Corwin]

Jaela nods again, and curtsies to Vla'akith. "It's been a pleasure," she says, ready to leave at their dismissal.

[Anastasia]

"Dismissed," Vlaakith says, "Aurora's forces will leave first and with my personal guarantee of safety."

Plans now, y'all?

I want to ask Tryll and Priest to take Muirfinn to Ilmater's realm and vet him. After a day passes, we can send Vivantha over there.

Since Muirfinn is an ex-PC, it'd probably be less awkward if he weren't around as an NPC. Plus, I want to make sure Asmodeus didn't hardwire some bullshit into him after all, so I don't want him to return until the integration is done with and Aurora is mobile again at the very least.

I don't really want him around much as an NPC for the same reasons.

However, I do want a chance for Yuth to speak up and add his two cents in. A chance to at least get some closure with him would be nice if nothing else, though I await Yuth's opinion and comments here.

So. Muirfinn would want to stay on with the Aurora. He was doing good work before everything happened. As the player, I'd say keep him on, he's useful. As part of a group, it risks the dreaded RP circle-jerk. So he's gotta go.

Who knows, maybe he'll retire into the tortle community on Aurora after he's properly vetted. Maybe train some druids. A sort of non-interactive NPC. Background-type stuff.

That's fine with me, I'm okay with your choices any which way. If nothing else he could be a good backup if you want to move off Tryll or something happens to him.

Also, do you wanna do any closure RP with Muirfinn?

Relegating Muirfinn to an inoffensive background role works, sure.
