A little more time passes. It's getting hard to fly - your wings are starting to freeze up, numb and struggling to keep going. The icy waters below loom closer as you dip down, making you struggle to regain your flight.

Moore takes a breath and begins to hum a song to get his mind off of the intense cold. He's just going to have to keep going -- this is the type of trial he can motivate other people through, so he himself would be remiss if he gave up! Magic could surely solve this sort of problem ... but that's completely cheating out of what this trial should represent!

Inspire Heroics on himself for +6 morale bonus to saves and +6 AC that hopefully will not matter.

You endure.

You endure.

You endure.

It's so cold but you endure.

Make one more Fort save.

He has to keep going -- he has to! It's what Kamhoff would've forced him to do -- never give up!

On and on. Further on. Until you at last see sunlight ahead, the iciness receding. You come out into the warmth of sunshine and the rolling hills ahead, dotted with little settlements and tombs. Whew, made it.

Does this appear to be the same place he left when he originally went to follow the river, just from the other side of it?

Anastasia

Somewhere different, probably farther along.

Moore takes a few minutes to get the feeling in his body back before he continues on towards the settlements. Perhaps he'll even catch Domiel or someone else visiting one!

[14:22] <Nephrite> roll 1d100-21 is a negative number good in this scenario??
[14:22] <Serith> Nephrite roll for Serith < 53 > [d100=74]

Yes.

You wander a time longer. As you walk through these hills, you see something ahead. A six winged angel floats - a solar. He floats perhaps seven feet off the ground and is surrounded by a ring of six tome archons. They all chant in Celestial, words you know some of - the Words of Creation. Nothing is around them and yet they continue to chant.

Moore will stop a respectful distance away to listen! Perhaps he can add his voice to theirs? Although they do already have 7...
