The mystery of Benfal (Moore, Tryll)

[Nephrite]

He'll report his findings (at least the summarization of his notes (assuming those are not gone entirely) to Tepen and tell him he will continue to look into it but he's taking a break on it for now. The summary is more or less 'I think Cantasa Alexadria opened a gate to Elysium and then stuff happened' -- again, presuming all his notes from before anything happened are still there. Also that Baleruk knows the truth and it's probably fine to leave it at that for now.

After that, the first thing on his list is to start gathering resources on the Aurora propaganda machine. He was concerned that barely anyone in Celestia had ever heard of Aurora, so he wants to start trying to do something to fix that.

Ideally, it'd basically just be something like a newsletter from Aurora -- I imagine getting magical paper that animates or something isn't outside of the realm of possibility here, there would most likely just be some sort of cost associated with it.

[Anastasia]

Elder Magi Tepen listens to your report.

"Anathemic knowledge? In this case you may be right," Tepen admits, "We end up stonewalled whenever we come across it," he admits. "You're about right, if only because it's fruitless to pursue something that can't be held and understood."

[Nephrite]

"I'm sure there's a way around it somehow." Moore says, rubbing at one of his eyes. "I think for right now just the knowledge that Cantasa Alexandria was even involved in this should tell us that something major happened."

[Anastasia]

"Which is self evident," Tepen agrees, "Go get some rest, you look tired."

[Nephrite]

"It's strange, I don't... know where the time went." Moore says offhandedly as he flies off.

Get some nice food and then a nap before he moves on to the propaganda machine.

[Anastasia]

You go to your bed - and find one problem. 27's sitting on your bed, messily chewing on a large drumstick. He stops when you come in and intently stares at you.

[Nephrite]

"Oh, hello 27." Moore says as he stifles a yawn. "What can I do for you?"

[Anastasia]

27 gives you a look of profound pity before going off, leaving his half eating meal on your bed.

[Nephrite]

Moore scratches his head and glances at the meal.

[Anastasia]

It's a half eaten turkey leg, all drooled on and nasty.

Bedding issues aside, describe your next move.

[Nephrite]

Do you want to deal with the animal companion stuff now or hold off on it?

[Anastasia]

Now's fine. What did you decide on?

[Nephrite]

I was still thinking something celestial, so I guess like a celestial bear or something along those lines. I wasn't sure if that math I had posted a few days ago was even close to being right, so this may be a pretty major undertaking!

[Anastasia]

Well, it's a class feature so you don't need to 'work' at it. Just choose something off the various options.

[Nephrite]

I meant because I'm bad at math. If possible, I'd like to go with a celestial dire bear, then.
