"At the moment, it's as malleable as the Prime - which means it isn't," Elena says. "It's not impossible to fix and change, but it's going to take time and work. Kras did a lot of work making it malleable to him and making sure it would all fall apart badly if he died. You're lucky you managed as much as you did."

"I'm surprised he didn't do more," Sylvie speaks up, "But I'd guess he has a scheme to reclaim it at some point and get his revenge."

"Yeah," Elena says, "But it's all things we can work with, and the hard part is done - we have a finished demiplane to work with."

"Screw him, it wasn't originally his anyway. Anyway, let's start working on the anchoring. What do you need for that?"

I'd also appreciate some rough ballpark figure of the time and work to fix and change the demiplane afterwards.

"It'll take about week, maybe longer, due to the situation. We can handle it, it'll just keep us busy," Elena says, "Where are we going to place it relative to Aurora proper?"

"What are our options, here?" Jaela asks Elena, having through it'd work like their ocean demiplane. "Are you talking about having it be some sort of buffer at the gate, so anyone not authorized by you has to take the long and trapped way in? Or about fully merging it to double our space? Actually, given the sizes it'd increase it by ten or so?"

Anastasia

"We could use it to enlarge the courtyard and Aurora proper - not the building but the space we have to work with. We could attach it somewhere in Aurora and have a portal to it, or connect it to the portal system. A buffer works as well, but that's also something we need to pass through, so we'd need to sort our adjustments and times appropriately." Elena says. "What do you all want here?"

"Let's integrate it," Jaela proposes. "We'll boost our open space, while placing the tower next to the Graceful Blow's complex." She glances over at Mirima as she speaks, although her magical senses keep a discreet eye on Adrian as well. "I think you could use the space to grow, and it'll give a chance for more of our rank and file to come over and train without the immediate heavy commitment. I know I'd like to use a couple rooms to train people." If not apprentices or squires actually sign up to learn from her, Jaela will just have to headhunt the promising soldiers and train them from the ground up herself. "How does that sound? We can explore a buffer at a later time, perhaps once we've fixed things properly."

"Do we want to do it evenly?" Elena asks, "Right now there's a precise circle of open space between Aurora and the outer walls. Do we want to keep that ratio?"

"Give us more space towards the back and sides," Afina suggests. "I don't want to have to fly for miles just to get from the fortress to the gates."

Anastasia

Gisfal speaks up, "That would give us more room to defend in depth should the shields be penetrated," Gisfal says, "We can afford to fall back and layer defenses. Though this also increases our troop needs even more."

"We don't have nearly the troops to fill that space, no," Afina agrees. "So better if it's put someplace where it won't interfere with our current operational needs. Aurora's malleable enough that we can adjust later if the situation changes."

Corwin

"I rather like the idea of boosting the sides and back and leaving the courtyard as is," Jaela muses. "It won't actually need more troops, either. We can use that courtyard trap on the space, except tune it better. Good luck flying through miles of holy power, devils!"

Anastasia

"Well," Elena says, "I mean everything around Aurora when I talk about the courtyard. The exact choice is yours, we'll have....hmmm.....well, there's about how many miles? Carry the one, get the radius and..."

"Back, sides, top. The courtyard, for ease, refers to the space we have between the entrance to Aurora proper and the gates, and where we have our temples and the Graceful Blow tower and remains as is. We'll figure out a suitable deterrent for devils crossing all that space we don't normally deploy to in strength, and you'll tell us if our shields were breached in the first place. I bet it'd take more time for any devil to reach Aurora even if they survive than for our defenders to circle around the structure and meet them halfway."

Anastasia

"Okay," Elena says, "We have about ten miles of space to work with, though we don't need to use all of it. How do we want to do this?"

Ball's in your court. There's likely math involved here, so feel free to do it.

I'm not sure what 'ten miles of space' are, but if we're talking of a circle's area the radius is ~1.78 miles. If we're talking a hemisphere's volume somehow, the radius is ~1.68 miles. Feel free to round it up a bit due to excluding the courtyard, and we're golden. If the ten miles was the radius of the other demiplane, let's say we have the 10 mile radius (except in the courtyard) and it's all good.
