I assume you're using the portal for resource reasons, rather than your own magic. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You step out into Brightwater, the crowds and noise intense as always. It's bustling, moving, vital and alive. Your desire is to meet Lliira, so that raises the question: How will you do it?

Yes, you are correct.

Moore knows the easiest and best way to catch her attention is simply to perform. Perform and perform again. Well, she's the one who asked him to devote himself to an oral performance, so he may as well use his talents...

Greater Improvisation, Divine Insight and Surge of Hope are both being pre-cast for this. Each are CL27.

His intention is to use his newfound Super Talky Skills (Perform: (Oratory)) to go around Lliira's area and talk up Aurora and their recent exploits in Benfal. This is also a great way of finding out if the newspaper did its job.

If it's something he can take 10 on, then the result is 106. For reference, this is a 15 insight, 14 luck, 4 morale, 15 competence, 10 from skill focus and then 42 from skill ranks and charisma. Then the 10.

For framing reference, Perform: Oratory is more of making a big speech versus Diplomacy, which leans more to one on one. They're considerably interchangable in this aspect, however. You'd be better suited to use Diplomacy if you want one on one contact and Perform: Oratory if you're making a big speech.

He will go a bit into the details of the dogai paragon falling to the might of Aurora Generals as well as the two twins.

Afterwards, he simply finishes with this: "There are many good causes in Creation, and I do not say that Aurora is the pinnacle. I only say that Aurora is one of many shining examples for the rest of us. I hope that as Aurora continues to resist Hell and now moves to confront them on the very doorstep of Lifasa, people here will pray for its success." He smiles, knowing that many are going to ask if this a donation request. "To be clear, I would not wish anyone here to feel obligated to donate to us -- if you feel that Lady Lliira's joy can aid us, then you are welcome to come and add your strength to ours. I simply hope that the news of good tidings will help carry you through your day."

Your words are simple and you rely on pure charisma to pull people in. The way you speak, the motions you make, the demands that gather attention. Demands that enthrall those who listen, drawing them in and capturing their attention fully. They soon hang on your every word as you speak, completely spell bound as you go on. You have them on every word, your finish ready.

A new epic skill usage was unlocked in Diplomacy, Enthrall Masses. I'll note that it's in there instead of Perform, this is a borderline situation so I decided either was enough to unlock it. Could've used either here fairly and there's a lot of overlap.

You can make even the most jaded listener hang on your every world. This is identical the effect of an enthrall spell, except that all creatures are considered friendly towards you while you perform, even those with 4 or more hit dice or 16 Wisdom. The targets are allowed a Will save to resist (DC is 10 + 1/2 your hit dice + your Charisma modifier). Enthralling masses takes one minute and lasts for as long as you speak. Enthralling masses is a standard action. A character that successfully saves against this enthrallment is immune to further enthrall masses attempts for the rest of the encounter.

Again, please do not feel obligated to suddenly join us for no reason or feel like I am asking for gold to leave your pockets. I simply wanted everyone to be aware of us and know the goals we strive for. If they happen to align with your own or those of another organization, then the fates have smiled on us." He says with a grin.

He offers a flourishing bow.

"Please, be about your day -- I thank you for your indulgence."

Cheers and clapping erupt at your words, coins and valuables tossed at you. Others turn to excitedly talk amid one another, while several rush forward, "For Aurora!" they call, "Let us fight for Aurora!"

Amid all this you hear laughter, a woman's amusement. It's coming from ahead somewhere, beckoning you somehow. You don't know how you do, but you do.

He really said not to... he'll just turn these back to offerings for Lliira.

He'll pick everything up, but the intent is to just give it back to her so I doubt there's a need for a loot post.

It would be rude to cause such a ruckus and not meet with her after all, so he travels in the direction of the laughter!

You push through the crowd - or try to, but people are in your way. Offering you things, offering you service or what have you.

You need to get around or through them somehow.

[Nephrite]

"Friends, there is time for all things. I shall return and speak to you all." Moore promises. Then he turns invisible.

Well let's see him stop someone invisible who's going to fly over them all. Hah!!!!

That works just fine.

You fly over them like a ghost, escaping them and into...it's night now. Lanterns hang, shedding light everywhere. Streets full of celebration, dancing and drinking. It's a tidal wave of joyous noise, everyone in deep revelry. Not a hand is idle, nor is a foot at rest. Music plays from all over, a chorus of tunes that somehow make a catchy whole.

He reappears, although he most likely does not have to.

He flies forward and glances around. "Ah... I guess it makes sense, you can't just have it be daytime all time..."

A courre - purple haired and female, laughing and drinking from a tiny glass - comes up and takes your hand, "Let's party!" she says, "The food and drinks are right over here!"
