"Have you ever wondered why spells fall out of your head after you use them? I mean, wizards have to study their spells and stuff every day because they forget them as soon as they use them. How come it's gotta be that way? I mean, everybody seems to accept it as normal, but why?" Calleigh asks, giving Vul'lath the cheesiest grin possible as the group passes. "Also, there's Vul'lath and Sylvie now!"
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Corwin

"Exactly!" Lucy agrees. "If it were perfectly normal, then why are there magical means for restoring these so-called 'lost' spells in the first place?"

And at that introduction she smoothly rises to her feet, checking her clothing for wrinkles and brushing it for non-existing dirt. "It is such a great honor to meet you, Sage Vul'lath," she gushes, beaming at him. It's still not enough to make her forget her manners, and she continues, "And Miss Sylvie, of course. My name is Lucy, and I'm hoping to study magic here and help take care of this magnificent repository of knowledge!"

Anastasia

Vul'lath stops, turns to you and faintly smiles. "Ah, a fellow student of knowledge?" he offers his hand to you. "You have excellent taste."

Sylvie smiles slightly, "Our reputation precedes us?"

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

Lucy's hair forms a hand that eagerly reaches to shake Vul'lath's. Her smile grows a bit strained, but she nevertheless says, "Oh yes, Miss Sylvie. I just know I'll get much closer to a proper understanding of magic surrounded by such august personages!"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Sylvie's smile grows just a bit, "I have some free time. Why don't we go study and get to know each other?"

Sage Vul'lath's hand shake is light enough, not crushing your hand or anything. He's certainly not a warrior with that grip. "What aspects of study to you specialize in?"

"Like I was telling Tryll and Calleigh, here, my overall thesis, you might call it, is the unified theory of magic, although try as I might to keep to a generalist bend I do have modest talent in a few fields," Lucy is all too happy to explain once more, before Sylvie's offer gets her to tilt her head.

"Why certainly, Miss Sylvie," she responds. "Is it a large study group?"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Yuthirin

Calleigh is silently enraptured by Lucy's animated hair.

Anastasia

"Then let's go," Sylvie flashes you a smile. "Where are you from?"

Are you going to tag along, Calleigh?

Calleigh shakes her head, "Whoa, I'm getting distracted! We've got stuff to do! Are you good to go with Vul'lath and Sylvie?"
What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Corwin

"No worries!" Lucy responds. "It was nice meeting you, Calleigh and Tryll!"
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

In that case I'm moving you to a new thread, Lucy. Tryll will continue on in here.

Tryll, next move?

Let's examine our plans again.

Right now, we're looking into finding additional components for the familiar ritual.

-Timelessness
-Water
-Chaos
-Humor
-Color

Timelessness we've got.
Water is our current conundrum.
Chaos can be extracted from Limbo, likely without too much trouble. We have anarchs.
Humor is ???
Color is an essence we can obtain from Renbuu. We owe him a visit anyway from way back when we first picked up Hamogan.

I'd like to put Water off for a bit, I need to decide if risking dealing with Calleigh's interactions with the Padisha is worth the reward, or if there is another source we can tap.

I'd like to look into the work in Limbo right now.

However, I believe that Iddy is interested in getting my help with something, so I think hanging out a bit would be prudent.

Iron Dragoon

Surraruthru needs a psychic brain surgery done on a Faerie Dragon pup that's mute. Surraruthru, the pup, and the mother are all currently in Aurora.
This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Yuthirin

I'd be happy to help. Ko, how do you want to do this?

Anastasia

This is complicated enough to spill into tomorrow. Is there anything you needed to today before that, Tryll?
