This is (I think) the only Ackfic I'm still following. It has Ackfic problems and boy was the Taylor gets the bad news scene tiresomely done, but it's tense and readable enough.

Translation of this Korean story was finished a few days ago.  The premise is that Earth is about to undergo a cataclysm, and the heavens freeze time on Earth while sending everyone else to different worlds to learn how to survive.  But, they miss one person...mm

The setting is fundamentally an RPG-like universe with emphasis on crafting and an overpowered main character.

A new Worm AU. Taylor has the same powers but things go worse for her mentally in a different first time out heroing, along with some background AU elements. It isn't bad. Not great, but it's a different thing than most Worm fics. It's more focused on Taylor's psychological issues than fighting or worldbuilding by a good mile, as well as her relationship with those close to her as well as those around her.

In other news, this fic continues to update weekly and I've dropped it. It's too much of an overpowered Taylor for my tastes, as well as being rather boring and without much tension. I can't buy into Taylor ever being in serious danger. Good if you want to see Taylor stomp things, I guess? More than that, things too often feel like a foregone conclusion in that plot black hole sort of way that Nasu crossovers tend to be in regards to what they're crossing over with.

Lung vs Siegfried-Taylor? Zero tension because she dominates and more importantly, you know she isn't going to lose right away. The author doesn't do anything to project any tension. Sophia sneaks into Taylor's house? Bet she'll die to Caster Taylor's traps. ...yep, she does. Doesn't even make it inside.

Seconded. I've unwatched it. I just struggle to buy into the premise of Taylor and her apparently massive charisma. It doesn't translate at all, at least to me.

The chapter reveal leans me even more towards dropping it. Just don't buy it being that dramatic and I'm not a fan of that sort of thing being used as a plot device anyway. It reeks of 'Okay, this can be treated on both sides of the cross but we're gonna set it up so it can't be in this, okay? Great.' This annoys me.

This has continued.  Was catching up and realized it updated again today.

Caught up...  New 'villain' does seem to be down nabiki's angle but really it seems to be pulling in a real-worldism to support the situation that feels really out of place.

It also basically eliminates whatever theoretical situation the author was leading toward (outside of setting up blackmail on himself) with the spend a day as a girl.

Mainly, the villain seems really smug with an exceedingly hollow stack of cards to stand on.
