Nephrite

Moore nods and takes it. 'Crystal, just be careful of Hell repeating whatever tactics they used the last time.' Moore sends as he heads off towards the temple of Selune, just making the judgement call that's where Balyss is right now.

Corwin

'Great,' Jaela responds to Canderella, her focus on her avatar lapsing briefly for the duration. 'Do you need more troops to flush them out?'

"We have a foothold," Makaril says, "Thanks to those who have not forgotten their homeland and endured unfathomable misery to reach this day. Mirima and Canderella's forces should be sufficient. I would like to take overall command and lead them inward."

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Of course," Jaela agrees. "Though first, why not make use of Aurora's facilities? A quick stop at the mission readiness arch while I send you some refreshments for the road?"

Makaril hurries over while Moore races to Balyss. He finds her where he thought she would be, kneeling in prayer. Silver light surrounds her like an embrace as the Lunatic is silent.

Meanwhile Sylvie glances at Afina, "No gift giving, huh?"

"Balyss." Moore calls out. He Unfortunately doesn't have the luxury of waiting like he normally does.

He flies up to her with the scale and simply holds it out -- he's got a feeling she'll know what to do with it without him needing to explain.

Man, they have an awful lot of people like that around here...

Corwin

Jaela waves at Afina and Sylvie before fading away. Balyss's examination of the scale draws her attention!

Comes with dealing with essentially superhumans and those in contact with divinity, Moore. Or artifacts of unfathomable power.

Balyss takes the scale and smiles, "I'll work on something with it, see how strong Hell's defenses are," she says. "Thank you."

Moore nods and gives her a pat on the shoulder. "If you need something, ask for it, okay? ...And let me know when it's time to open that book, okay?" Moore says with a smile.

Ebiris

Afina's cheeks glow a bit more red, though with her evershifting palette of subtle colours it could be coincidence. "It wasn't really a gift in the traditional sense," she says, looking quite adorably sulky at being caught out on where her inner monologue was going.

Of course one can't slide these things past Sylvie.

Corwin

"Relay to Tryll and Surraruthru that they should prepare for their excursion," Jaela tells Vul'lath. "I propose heading out as soon as a fresh devil wave attacks Aurora, but timing is left up to them. Also, Balyss is going to be busy divining Harkin's location for the foreseeable future. Have Stille keep an eye on her so she could focus on that fully."

"I will," Balyss says, "Go. I look alone, but I am with many."

Meanwhile, Sylvie just smiles faintly. "Yeah. Doing the right thing's more important than your mores about hospitality or whatever hangup you have. Never could get that lesson, never could take it to heart."

"Understood," Vul'lath seconds to Jaela. "What of moving to form secondary fronts, or shall we be mobil-ah, a moment, the Cauldron is reporting in."

Moore smiles and nods. "Don't worry, I can empathize."

With that, he heads back to Ilsenine to wait for further orders!

Ebiris

"Showing hospitality is the right thing," Afina maintains. "There are rules. But both sides have to abide by them or they mean nothing."

'I'm going over losses,' Priest sends, 'Minor losses from this battle, but we did suffer them. The skirmishes were too short and one sided to seriously challenge us.'

Above, Baleruk and Crystal close in, soldiers and ships behind them. 'We're in!' Crystal announces, 'We're taking losses but we're in. Baleruk's directly breaching the interior. '

Sylvie meanwhile shakes her head, "How lawful of you. Fancying Chronias?" She says it with a smile.
