Surraruthru considers for a moment and casts another spell into the Tapestry, focusing it on the point he stands.

Evacuation Rune, CL 25, 24 hour duration.
Upon casting this spell and touching a surface or inanimate object, you create an invisible rune like that created by the spell arcane mark (PH 201). At any point during the spell's duration, you can teleport (as the greater teleport spell) back to the mark as a swift action. This ends the spell's duration. After teleporting in this way, you can't take any other actions until your next turn.

"I've put a spell into the Tapestry that will allow us to return to this spot in an emergency. A last-ditch escape or emergency redeployment."

'Understood,' Crystal sends back, the silence as she surely focuses wholly on the battle.

Giving the non night crew a chance to reply to what's happening above there. Will probably drop another post this late morning to early afternoon, assuming posts come.

"Trap or not, we need to get a better look at what was done at Gar Malleos to have any hope of undoing it," Afina says, relieved that Baleruk's taking care of things on that acropolis.

Jaela fills Vul'lath in on Surraruthru's question, trusting him to work out the specifics where leylines are concerned as it's not urgent enough they need to shoot from the hip.

"Of course it would be a trap," she agrees with Surraruthru and Tryll. "For a given value of trap, at least. Everything we will face can be seen as such. We're here to take Lifasa back, however. I believe we can do that, despite all the devils throw at us."

[Yuthirin]

'I don't disagree. I believe we can do this as well. I'm just encouraging caution. Devils love plans within plans, and they still want a win here if they can pull it off.'

[Anastasia]

'Working on it,' Vul'lath replies shortly, 'Query me again later.'

In all of your minds, 'Fighting within is fierce, this won't be quick,' Mirima sends back, 'The devils and their lackies are fighting for every inch and seeking to inflict casualties.'

Surraruthru looks at the floating target. "Too bad we can't get the Sunfire Golem up there with any quickness. Between it and Baleruk, that would be finished with quickly."

'It can fly, but not quickly or for very long.' Tryll replies. We could teleport it there, I suppose, but again it's not a very good flier. Its combat efficiency is very poor in flight.'

[Corwin]

'Do you need reinforcements, Crystal?' Jaela asks of the knight leading the assault on the Aeropolis, before repeating the question for their other force. 'Mirima, do you and Canderella need reinforcements?'

[Anastasia]

"It's probably not worth it," Sylvie agrees.

'Negative,' Crystal says, 'We're progressing well. We're - I think we just found the core of this. Queen of Stars bring us victory!'

A few moments Mirima sends back, 'No, as long as our back's secure. We need time and a safe flank to do this.'

[Nephrite]

Moore takes a breath and lets it out. Where are the bigger players? Bel has to be planning something, somewhere...

For now he merely waits and continues to silently pray for everyone's safety.

Afina stands watch for infiltrators as she had been doing, unable to influence either battle at this stage and merely counting on her friends and allies to show their worth.
