"Checking on you. We have little need of diplomacy, I am seeing to others," Morniel replies. "We anticipate another attack sooner than later."

[Nephrite]

"I had..." Moore glances off to the side. He shakes his head. "I don't know if I'd call it a premonition, but I know we need to be ready. Bel still hasn't tipped his hand at all, though... I think I heard something about Levistus?"

[Anastasia]

"Yes. Details are not clear, but the force in Gar Malleos drove him to retreat. It is a mystery," Morniel concludes, "One we ill have time to consider."

[Ebiris]

Afina nods back to 27 and otherwise resumes her vigil over the battlefield.

"I think I know what drove him out, but for now we just have to have hope that the rest of the force can complete their mission down there." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

Morniel nods as he walks down the hall with Moore, "We must."

Meanwhile Afina spots that the sky shimmers, and she can see droplets of blood beginning to fall from the sky.

Afina recognizes a manifestation of evil when she sees it. Tears of the Battlefield, a blood rain that occurs by Bel's will or his touch on the Prime. It leeches sanity, goodness and pacifism from creatures, reducing them to naught but soldiers to bleed and die for warfare.

"Everyone into the courtyard!" Afina calls to any soldiers outside, telepathically contacting commanders on the field. 'Take cover under the nearest shelter, the blood rain will destroy your mind if it falls on you!'

Then she tries to manipulate the weather with her nature magic to make it not rain. Worth a try, right?

CL 27 on control weather. Afina would rather not step outside but if the dynamics of Aurora's demiplane means she can't control the weather outside from inside then she will, she'll just duck underneath Aurora so as to be sheltered from the rain.
