Nephrite

They don't really have a lot of wiggle room here, but Moore moves over to the left regardless.

Ebiris

With everyone else dodging to the left, Afina dodges upwards to the ceiling! If it's some sort of trick or trap at least it won't get everyone.

Corwin

Jaela figures she needs to extend a bit of trust, at least at first, and dodges left with most of the others.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake

Anastasia

Adrian tumbles to the wall, while Sylvie moves slower, unhurried. Balyss follows Adrian as a vast claw rips out from the floor behind all of you silently, yet not disturbing the stone at all. It is hellfire red and as big as Hanna, ripping through the space all of you were in before and...

Any of you can AoO it if you like.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Nephrite

My AoOs are more or less worth nothing, so I will pass.

Corwin

Switching to Gae Bolg, Jaela lashes out!

Gae Buidhe: The wielder acts outside of fate and destiny, they are immune to divinations (with the exception of detect good, which always reveals an overwhelming aura of good). Luck and insight bonuses to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls and DCs do not apply against attacks on the wielder, while the same bonuses to armor class and saving throws do not apply against attacks the wielder makes. Additional abilities that explicitly manipulate destiny or use it as a tool also fail (the DM's discretion is used to determine abilities that qualify for this).

Hidden Dawn used with Balyss

Golden Bracers (Hidden Dawn):
Searing Light at will as an SLA
Flame Strike at will as an SLA
Sunburst at will as an SLA
Immunity to fire
Save bonuses increase to +7
Goldenfire damage on weapon damage rolls, natural attacks and spells and spell-like abilities with the fire descriptor rises to +6d6, unlimited range as long as on same plane.

Goldenfire Spell [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisite: Searing Spell, con 25, must worship Lathander or another of the House of Nature
Benefit: A goldenfire spell ignores the immunity and resistance to fire of creatures affected by the spell. Evil creatures take 50% more damage from a goldenfire spell and suffer a -7 penalty to the saving throw, if applicable. The spell gains the good descriptor if it does not already have it. Any spell modified with goldenfire gains a sacrifice component of 1 point of Constitution damage. A goldenfire spell uses up a spell slot 3 levels higher than the spells's actual level.

Yuthirin

What if they're not stars at all? What if the night sky is full of titanic far-off lidless eyes, staring in all directions across eternity?

Iron Dragoon

This is not the greatest post in the world, no... this is just a tribute.

Anastasia

I'm not sure how much I'll be around today, so let me get a post out now in case circumstances conspire against me.

Second line just to make sure the top line isn't missed.

Anyway, Balyss will pass and Sylvie will pass. Adrian will strike.

Jaela and Adrian are fast as the others dodge, slicing into the claw - for little effect, hellfire fizzling out as the claw fades back into the ground.

"Typical. Cowardly, safe and annoying," Adrian says, "Wouldn't expect anything less of Hell."

Was that like a conjured hand via spell or a creature using an earth-glide sort of ability?

Anastasia

It was a spell, a variant of the hand spells that are well known.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

Is it one that allows indirect targetting?

Does the tunnel extend in a straight line beyond Afina's 200 foot blindsight where a devil could theoretically be standing and see us?

[17:01] <@Ebiris> roll 1d20+12 DC 20 int check to notice scrying sensor
[17:01] <Rei-chan> Ebiris rolled : 1d20+12 DC 20 int check to notice scrying sensor --> [ 1d20=13 ]{25}

Anastasia

It seems to work by being pointed in a general direction and striking. It has some crude targeting, not coming up until it until conditions set by the caster.

The tunnel is a spiral and thus it does not, Afina.
