<Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d20+19 --> [ 1d20=6 ]{25}

You can tell that Makim has Mind Blank or a similar divination defeating protection active on his person. That makes learning more impossible, the stolen spell not enough to penetrate whatever defenses he has.

He's not countering, any other actions this round?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Nope, that's it. Here's hoping SR and other things hold!

Anastasia

I'm hoping too. Even when the PCs are in a tight spot, I hope they pull it out instead of dying. Good luck.

"Alurra zom sekmid! Sekmid! Fool and lost Sekmid, I invoke you!" Makim chants, holding his ground, helixes of spellfire cascading around his body. "Sekmid's Trap!" Around you a cylinder of force appears, shimmering and semi transparent. You're at the end closest to Makim, extending well past beyond you and out over the ground. Just below your feet is a floor of the same stuff, and it extends up to the ceiling, where it stops with a ceiling of force just below it.

Go.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

To be clear, are we in the same cylinder or did he put me in a cylinder he's outside of?

Anastasia

He's outside of it. It's sealing you in rather tightly.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Okay.

"I'm not really sure this will work, but let's try something creative." Moore says and gestures with his hand again. Heck, if Makim is going to shout spell names, then... "Unbinding!"

From the description of it, I would think that it would work here.

He'll also use Inspire Heroics.

Anastasia

You would be correct.

The cylinder of force is wiped out in a flash of  light, banished away instantly, freeing you. Makim merely nods slightly and makes a strange, curious gesture. Twin green clouds flank you, one on each side. They pop and sizzle with acid, flying around and around you, seemingly ready to strike at any minute.

A field of force surrounds Makim a moment later, dozens of images of body-hugging force armor overlaying his body.

Go.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"I know I can't beat you." Moore admits. "I was never much for destructive magic, myself. Hopefully I can make it worth your time, nonetheless."

Take 10 for 79 on Spellcraft. Can I identify what these clouds are or anything about the spell involved?

He takes another breath. There are a few ways out of this... even if he can't win. There's no reason to lose hope, not now, not ever. Makim isn't an evil person -- no, he's...

Inspire Greatness.

[blockquote]Rolled 8d10 : 3, 4, 10, 10, 6, 3, 8, 4, total 48[/blockquote]

He makes an elaborate gesture -- he may as well get as into this as Makim is. "Refreshment!" He shouts. He's... he's casting Refreshment!!! he's getting rid of all of his nonlethal damage.

Anastasia

It's a custom spell named Acid Twins. The two acid clouds will relentlessly hound you whenever you cast a spell, attack or basically do anything but move. They follow you naturally and a decent speed.

Still going to cast Refreshment in light of that?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. How much do I believe in my protections... He'll chance it.

I'll do some AC calculations.

Anastasia

<Rei-chan> Kotono rolled : 1d20+41 touch AC 2 --> [ 1d20=18 ]{59}

Touch AC?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

It is 61! Thank you, magical songs and other things!

Anastasia

Refreshment covers you as Makim snaps his fingers again. As the acid twins rove around you, looking for a shop, a wave of sheer magic hits you hard. "Impressive, for a pixie," he says coolly, "But let's take away all your precious defenses. Artsym worg!"

You're being dispelled. Number of spells to be hit?
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Eight, if I am doing my calculations correctly. Does the True Seeing bestowed from his glasses count? If so, then nine.

Anastasia

List the spells and CLs, please.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
