He's not had a lot of luck with gambling, but he really doesn't have anything else to do here. Even if it doesn't do anything, his point will have been made.

It does! It is actually only down to 59 now, for your reference, since most of this touch AC comes from items and his songs. Also he does have a 20% miss chance, but it's irrelevant at this point.

Makim merely tilts his head to the side as a wind begins to blow, whipping across the balcony. Thet able and chairs are on the sides, knocked over by some spell or another. Rising up the tower is a massive eagle, big enough to dwarf several Hannas. "The Words of Creation? I'll ask your corpse as to why." Makim adds as the eagle ascends, seemingly utterly unsurprised by it.

As you battle, the eagle flaps its wings and utters a piercing cry, before intoning strange words like gusts of wind. Auran, you know the language. "Black wind, slash true!" A black ray flies from the eagle, aimed right at you.

But you manage to ride the winds away from it, dodging the assault as your sight momentarily blurs and swims from the sensation of fatigue, the Words having been far from free to invoke. Makim meanwhile rises in the air, beginning to fly as winds batter the both of you. Suddenly a searingly hot ball of fire erupts around you, seeking you and moving as if alive, diving and juking at you constantly as you try to evade.
