Treasure Ship Hunt

Boxes surround you. You are on a ship - perhaps your ship. Boxes from floor to ceiling, caved in slightly and blocking your way. You have about 10ft by 5ft of space to work with. One of the boxes has a crack in it, black gemstones falling out of it. Jarem kneels and picks one up, tossing it to you, "I'm no merchant, but when I see black gems, I think black onyx and necromancers."

Alyssa catches it with her telekinesis, bringing it float and spin before her so she can inspect it.

"Perhaps... An unusual amount of them, though. This is a fair bit more than the Order has, and we have a dedicated Necromancy tower... If they're using these for necromantic spells, it's... a lot of them. An army's worth."

[Anastasia]

It's a black zircon. They occur in some Prime worlds, Earth and connected Inner Planes, Pandemonium and a few mountains in Maladomini in Hell. They're not very valuable, unfortunately, but there are a lot of them.

"Hm. Black zircon. Not especially valuable... Not enough to justify a shipment like this..."

She tries to think of what could need this amount as she heads out, hoping to find the source of the distortion.

Nothing magical comes to mind. Zircon is rarely used in magic, as diamonds are often tied to restoration, and something seen as a fake diamond largely mitigates those spiritual properties. They're still gemstones, however, and thus valuable cargo.

"Hm. Let's move. We can deal with this later."

[Anastasia]

Jarem stand and readies his gear, "Think there's another distortion on the far side," he gestures to the end of the little cubby of sorts you're in.

Is there no other way out of the room? Or is the other distortion my only option?

Can I clear a path out of the room with TK? If not, then the distortion is the only option.

You could, but you'd have to be careful not to send boxes down on your heads.
