"Loot!" Calleigh cries, zipping forward to gather up the dropped items.

'Ebony, how fare things?' Tryll sends.

'Well enough, I've held the line,' Ebony says. 'Yourself?'

'I'm pretty sure we just killed either the owner of this house, or Eye. Didn't get a chance to ask. It died like an elemental, so possibly Eye. Or one of his lieutenants.'

[Anastasia]

'Good,' Ebony sends back.

Ball is at least momentarily in your court, Trylling.

Besides all the flames, anyway, which don't seem to be spreading.

if they're just normal flames, I'll ignore them. They'll die down.

Calleigh finds Ebony standing here. Bloodstains are about the area, yet only a handful of humans lie here - breathing but not getting up. Ebony stands on guard, "I have defeated the pincer attempt," she reports. "They will live - at least for now, though the law may not be so merciful to them."

[Yuthirin]

"We found a fire man! He wanted to know if we were sacrifices to Imix, so me MURDERIZED HIM!"

[Anastasia]

"Justice has been done," Ebony says, "If not precisely to the law's reach, but such things can't be avoided." A few moments, "I believe no more reinforcements are immediately forthcoming. How is Tryll?"

[Yuthirin]

"He's fine. Fireguy didn't get a chance to hit us. He's doing brain things now to see if we can see the past."

[Anastasia]

Ebony lightly clicks her tongue, "I hope they are not hasty in trying again." A side long glance at Calleigh, "In case I forget to tell him again, encourage him to develop faster means of psychometry and divination."

[Yuthirin]

"I think he knows." Calleigh nods. "He got stuck on the whole psigate thing and stopped working on other stuff."
