Alyssa chuckles. "I'll take it, but I think 500 gold is a bit high even if the spell is... Unique. It's rather restrictive and specialized in it's use. While that makes it rare and unique, that doesn't mean it's especially useful. I'll offer... 300 gold. A cleric trained as an unarmed fighter is rare."

[Anastasia]

"My lady, this spell is unique and valuable! The historical value alone makes it worth more than that.. Surely worth at least 470 gold coins!"

Meanwhile Emily stands to the side, watching curiously.

"Unique doesn't equate to value. A clay arrowhead is unique, but not useful. Still, historically... Even considering, it's only value is to complete a set of work. Presip surely made more than two spells, but two isn't a set. 350 gold."

[Anastasia]

"Ah, but three spells is, and I have a third spell," Jeras retorts, leaning forward, "As part of a set, its value rises greatly. 445 gold."

[Iron Dragoon]

"The desirability of it depends on the desirability of the set. What's the third spell?"

[Anastasia]

"Presip's Life Jaunt," Jeras spreads his arms, "An improved version of Presip's Life Walk, with added speed improvements as well. Really a logical next step for the spell."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Oh indeed? Hmm... How much for the set?"

[Anastasia]

"Well, you bought the first. 3500 for the set," he says, "For both of them."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hmm... The first was 1,000 gold. Is the next one worth 3,000?"

Alyssa considers for a moment. "2850."

[Anastasia]

"3400 and I toss in a scroll of read magic I need to get rid of," Jeras says, "But no less."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Read magic? That's a rather simple spell... How about this. 3000 gold with you being one of the first favored brokers for me and mine here on Brightwater? I'll send you plenty of business, I assure you. Emily can verify for you the amount of interest in arcane knowledge I represent."

[Anastasia]

"She runs a guild, that's easy business," Emily says, "It's a good deal, my Mom would say so too!"

Jeras gives you a long look at that, "A guild? Well, for that you have a deal."
