[Anastasia]

"Bright, blinding and really bright. We'll need planar protections for sure," Jarem ticks off a finger, "Also, backup means of perception are useful if you can manage them. As you might expect, light magic's strong here."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hmm, I can start looking into it and planning."

[Anastasia]

"We can go whenever you're ready," Jarem says, "Are you?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Not immediately. I've got some spells to go over. Including one for you, with the understanding that the Order gets to copy it into our library."

[Anastasia]

"Oh?" Now Jarem looks up, "What sort of spell? Something new or obscure?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Obscure, but more than suitable for you." She slides the scroll for healing fist over.

[Anastasia]

Jarem reads and hms. "It's unique, but I don't fight unarmed, and if I need to heal many people, I'll use a stronger spell. Say, give this to an unarmed warrior or a beast with lots of claws and fangs? You'd be onto something, especially against the undead."

As a standard action, your touch heals 1d12 points of damage. Additionally, any unarmed strikes or natural weapon attacks you make also cause this healing. Against undead, this deals damage instead of healing.

"I figured since you tend to put your foot in your mouth so often, you might as well get something out of it."

[Anastasia]

"If you say so," Jarem's tone is light. "Still, thank you - a new spell is always worthwhile, and even if I can't use it, the Red Knight will have others who can."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa chuckles. "I'll let you know when I'm ready. If you can, get a briefing together for Radiance."

[Anastasia]

"Yeah, sure. How do you want to do this?" Jarem goes on, "A small strike force with just the three of us, or something more expansive?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"With our defenses being bare-bones, I half don't want to take away from the forces here. On the other hand, I'm not sure what we'll face in Radiance. I'd say... You, Emily, myself, and two others. Maybe... A conjurer and a necromancer? What do you think of that group?"

[Anastasia]

"Skip 'em," Jarem says, "Frankly, if we get in a situation where we're in trouble, a couple of them won't change anything. Keep them here in case Shar chooses now to act up."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods.

"Alright then. Let me study some of these spells and do some research into Radiance for what protections would be best and we'll be on our way."
