It looks like various magical diagrams, formula and lore to Marie. She doesn't see anything revealing.

It's the same for Seira and Moore at first, but you both notice something else. The magic is absolutely refined, the sort of work you'd expect from an archmages with countless years to hone magic to its finest mastery. The difference between a mere mastery and the grandmaster of grandmasters, really. It's unbelievably well done stuff, by and large.

What does it actually do? What is his magical thesis equivalent?

"Hm." Moore taps his chin with a glance at Seira. "I'm guessing you're of the same opinion, that this isn't just knowledge that got dumped on him, it's an actual fastidious understanding of that knowledge. Hey, Kaja."

Moore turns and looks back. "Can you describe the knowledge you gained when you joined our group? The actual learning process?"

[Anastasia]

It's broadly assorted lore. It doesn't seem to be forming towards anything and yet...

Hm. There's something there and...

Spellcraft, Seira. You asked the right question.

[Anastasia]

Kaja nods, "It's like I learned fast, and I learned things in moments, in swings of the blade," he describes, "Years of work in a few hours of practice."

After taking a few moments to concentrate and refresh her spells, Seira attempts to analyze the lore! If it's a puzzle, then once properly assembled....

Moore nods and looks back at the diagrams.

"Is... this a spell, though? I mean..." Moore scratches his head as he looks at the diagrams. "Or maybe something even more than that...?"

He's going to attempt to at least see if there's any kind of procedural logic to the diagrams -- do they start and end, or just start in the middle of something?

[Anastasia]

It does look like part of some grander ritual. Incomplete for sure, but part of it. At the same time...

"It's a ritual," Seira declares, frowning now. "Is this everything, Josa? It's lacking some key parts."

Moore can tell it's a ritual as well, incomplete, but building towards something.

"It's everything he's said on it," Josa says, "Unfortunately he has not said more in a little while, being lost in his own workings and interests."

"What sort of interests?" Marie seizes on a more mundane topic like a lifeline. Hopefully they're wholesome childhood interests!
