Nephrite

Can those be dispelled?

Anastasia

The sphere or this particular effect?

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Both -- I admit I'm not entirely familiar with spheres of annihilation, unless this is like the Eye of Shar again except on a lesser level

Anastasia

The sphere cannot - it is an artifact.

However, this looks to be a particular effect and may be dispellable.

Nephrite

Hmmmm. Okay.

Moore moves back and away by about 15 feet and gestures and points at the sphere!

[21:37] <Nephrite> roll 1d20 1 check maybe
[21:37] <Serith> Nephrite roll for Serith < 1 > [d20=1]

Antimagic Ray, for whatever that's worth!

Anastasia

Ugh. The suction of the effect deflects the ray, hitting the wall instead. "Brace," Cresiel murmurs. "A delaying tactic, again. Are all slavers cowardly, or are we  merely blessed to find the cowards?"

Nephrite

"Probably both." Moore says. He gestures and tries again -- no harm in that!

If you need the actual touch armor value I can provide that.

Anastasia

The ray is sucked right into the emptiness - and a moment later it vanishes, a small pebble clattering to the ground. Ahead is a chasm, about 100ft across, with a simple rope and wood bridge across. It rocks back and forth rather shakily.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"I'll pass." Moore says as he gestures to create a stone bridge across the chasm.

Wall of Stone, just using it to make a totally different bridge across and reinforce it in case of crazy nonsense.

"But seriously, what is up with this place? Is everyone kept across this bridge?" Moore asks to the dwarf who's been talking this whole time.

Anastasia

"Yes. The Bridge of Honesty," The dwarf says, "Those who lie the the efreet are doomed to fall into the chasm, they say." Bowing his head, "After seeing the wealth of the efreet, they see the justice of the efreet. Those that wrong those in the service of the Grand Sultan shall taste his justice."

How big/wide/strong is your bridge?

Nephrite

1 5-ft. square/level (S) -- god I have to do math, fuck!

CL is 19, so that's... 95 feet? Okay, so that would require two casts, no big deal. Each stone block is 4 inches thick , though he can double that up with two casts to make it across. So, two casts, the bridge is 8 ft wide and 8 inches thick all around.

Anastasia

The bridge appears, the first part - which shudders, beginning to crack all over, sagging downward with a quickness.

Taking 10 on the K:P check here.

"Heavy gravity," Cresiel says, "Heavy even for Earth."

Kaja bears his teeth, "Hoping to catch those who try and avoid the rickety bridge, huh?"

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Fine, we'll play by their rules." Moore says. "Stay here." He goes to simply fly across the bridge.

If it's really a matter of truth -- he's never once lied to an efreet, though he is clearly an enemy of the Grand Sultan, but... maybe if the only qualifier is honesty...?
