Thus the three of you reach the cave entrance. It is bright here, the light coming from everything even within. A path deeper in, the cave narrowing and slowly sloping down and deeper into it. You can hear the gentle noise of water dripping, echoing from within.

A little bit in, Jarem holds a hand up and stops, kneeling to examine the floor. "A depressed floor plate," he says, "Built right in. Whatever it it did, it's already been tripped."

It looks like it connected to a trap on the floor. Something to send magical electricity to shock you.

"Looks like an electric shock trap. Keep an eye out, there's likely to be more."

"More importantly, it's already been tripped," Jarem scowls, "We may have been beaten to it, or something may be lairing here."  Standing up, "This might be a little more interesting than I thought."

"I'm trying to ignore the possibility that this is all for naught, Jarem. If something is lairing here, it could have added to the hoard. Let's keep going."

[Anastasia]

"Also, this is a good time for any medium length spells,' Jarem says, "The ones that last a few minutes to perhaps a half hour."

Jarem leads the way along. Ahead the path narrows - yet the walls waver, seeming to stretch out away from you. Ahead is a steel gate, closed shut, tall enough to walk a dozen Hannas through, each standing on the head of the next.

"Ooooh, that's a minor dimensional adjustment for space," Emily says, "Even a dragon could stride down here with space to spare, and I mean a big dragon."

"Good to know the dragon's magic is long lasting," Jarem retorts, "Experienced with that sort of magic, Princess?"

"Of course I am," Emily says, "What, aren't you?" Frowning and leaning forward a bit, on tiptoes, "It's not that hard, unless you're not beyond the mortal spheres of magic."

With an eyeroll unseen as he's leading the way, "No, never studied it that deeply. I know enough to get by, but I focus on magical practical to war. This here? This is a luxury." Waving his shield at a wall, a quick gesture, "I know about a bag of holding, abou ta dimensional lock. Less about more esotoric means that replace sound architecture."

"Now that is magic I need to study. Imagine the space increase for the Order. A single room could house an entire unit of guards, multiply our testing spaces, and exponentially increase the space we have in a greenhouse for food production."

Alyssa casts detect magic on herself and begins studying the weave of magic, hoping to figure out a way to copy it.

Emily smiles and perks up at your words, trotting closer to you. "Oh, it's wonderful! Mom does things like that at home sometimes, it's so amazingly useful."

Jarem keeps his gaze ahead, "As long as it doesn't get dispelled or ruined at the wrong time? Ever hear of what happens when a bag of holding gets violently destroyed?"
