None, really, besides killing it. Unlike an ooze it has an intelligence of sorts, however.

Alyssa relays everything to Jarem and Emily when she reaches them.

[Anastasia]

Jarem hums, "Okay, so that's our problem. Got any wide range illusions handy? If it's a simple minded creature and we're sufficiently quiet and cloaked in an illusion, it may not notice us claiming the treasure."

Emily hums, "At worst, we can fight it. It sounds like a menace, look at all the bones."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Think of it like an animal. It wants to eat, and it's powerful enough to kill all of those creatures. What do you think of a portal trap with conjured food? Maybe a summoned creature to lure it if we can't pull together a feast?"

[Anastasia]

"I like it," Jarem says, "Clever and reasonable chances to work. The big question: Where do we portal it?"

Emily nods, "Oh, I like that idea, too. It should hop right in and we can just shut the portal once it's somewhere far away."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Limbo. Send it home."

[Anastasia]

"Good." Jarem looks off center a moment, staring at nothing, "We got a backup plan besides fight it if this goes to the way of Garagos?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"I can set up a screen spell from the Spellpool. If nothing else, that'll give us time to either escape or launch a surprise attack."

[Anastasia]

"It'll do," Jarem says, "Princess?"

"I'm ready, but I hope it fights. I want to smash it," Emily says, "It sounds like a good opponent."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Jarem, isn't there some warrior's idiom about not fighting battles you don't have to? In any case, if I'm taking care of the Screen, who's pulling up the bait and who's setting the trap?"

[Anastasia]

"There are," Jarem agrees, "They rarely work with someone eager to get blooded in combat, like Princess over here."

"I'll set up the gate," Emily agrees quickly enough.

"And I can manage a summon for bait," Jarem says.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods. "Emily, I'll have to have you do some missionary work or the like to see the cost of battle. Medic duty, or repair or the like, so you can see the aftermath. It's always good for soldiers to take part in those things. It brings them closer to the people."

With that, she pulls on her connection to the Spellpool and casts Screen, shielding them from detection.

Illusion to blend into a section of the wall, small enough to give some movement, but not big enough to risk having it wobble or whatever into the illusion.

Where are you placing it relative to the ooze?

Um, a bit around the bend, out of its direct line of sight. Backed up against a wall. I'd want the trap slightly out of sight so it doesn't see it being cast, and then the summon will wander around the bend and then run back to the trap to bait it in, I guess. Some approximation of that tactic.

[Anastasia]

Thus you position and Jarem chants, before a squad of golden bovines appear. "Go," Jarem gestures, speaking the word in Celestial. It seems to be enough, the bison going on ahead. Emily quietly chants and a portal opens, soon enough the cow running back, the ooze following.
