"Greetings." The blade's word hangs in the air.

Mother stares, "The sword talks!"

"The sword talks!" Father grins.

"The sword talks?" Alihana reaches out, as if to poke it.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa grins.

"The sword does indeed talk. It does far more than that. It's a fully sentient being I created."

[Anastasia]

"Incredible. Did you forge it yourself?" Father asks.

Meanwhile Alihana eyes it carefully, "Is it safe to touch?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"It's a sword. Hilt only, but ask Shifting first. And no, I didn't forge it. I don't have that skill... So far."

[Anastasia]

"Well, can I?" Alihana asks, a hand on her hip.

"...Very well," Your sword replies. As Alihana grasps its hilt?

Father says, "Still though...what wonders. That alone? Alright. Let's go, Alyssa. Let's see this guild of yours."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa laughs. "The health doesn't convince you, the long life doesn't convince you, but the talking sword does."

[Anastasia]

"It's a talking sword!" Father protests, waving at it with a hand, "It's the legend of legends!"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Speaking of, let's go outside so I can show you this spell."

[Anastasia]

Thus you all go and...

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa leads everyone outside.

"Alright, this is a spell I created. It's a combat spell, so don't get too close."

Alyssa brings Shifting Steel in front of her and begins chanting.

A flurry of swords appears, everyone staring.

Mother merely watches all nine of them, while Father whistles and looks closely, "I can't even tell a difference between them. Nine copies, are they permanent?"

"No, only long enough to fight. But there are spells that can create things permanently. One day, perhaps, I'll be able to spontaneously create things."

[Anastasia]

"Sorcery or not it's impressive," Father agrees.

Jarem clears his throat, "With this done, we should start preparing for the move. When do you want to go, Alyssa?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa dismisses the blades and turns to them. "It depends on how long you all want to visit and how long it takes you to pack up what you need."

[Anastasia]

Okay, Jarem has a bit of business but that's purely off screen stuff for him unless you wanna watch him work.
