Family Reunion

[Anastasia]

"Oh. That's easy. Be polite first of all. The eladrin aren't too hung up on court forms, especially since sometimes they make up titles on the spot. They can stick if everyone likes them," Emily observes, "If you make a mistake and they correct you, follow the correction. I can help with that since I've visited with Mom. Queen Morwel..."

Emily closes her eyes and sighs. It is a longing sigh, "You'll fall in love with her if you meet her, Alyssa. There's no helping it, it's what she is."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa considers how to protect against that... Mindblank for sure, but that should be standard... Something stronger? Perhaps to dampen emotion?

"Any expectations? Is there a gift required or something when asking for a favor like getting access to the library?"

[Anastasia]

"Asking her and being nice enough and in her favor to do it?" Emily says, "A gift might help or simply talking to her - oh, I can get you that much at least. I just know she'll want to see me." Emily smiles, a hand to her chest.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Alright. I need your opinion on something else. Should I try to get this Druid on board with us first, or visit with Morwel?"

[Anastasia]

A slow headtilt, "Why not try both at once. There's druids at the Court of Stars. The fey and eladrin have always gotten along well."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hm. Not a bad idea, but my divination pointed me at a specific one. Maybe try to recruit that one first and bring them with us? Would it help to have a druid with us?"

[Anastasia]

"It depends on the druid," Emily replies right back, "Who do they serve?" A final sigh and she perks up, brushing aside a bit of her hair, "If she serves someone like Queen Titania or King Oberon, that would help because they get along with the court."

[Iron Dragoon]

"I have no idea. What do you think?"

[Anastasia]

"Uh."

Emily blinks and then blinks again. "Maybe then? I'd have to meet them to have an idea. Do you know anything about them?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Only that they can be met in the King of Langersun's personal grove, and they meet the criteria of being powerful enough to fight with us and should be willing to help."

[Anastasia]

"Which doesn't tell me enough. Can we go meet them?" Emily asks, "We can teleport right over."

[Iron Dragoon]

"If we want to anger the sorcerer-king, sure. It's his private grove. I imagine that there's at least some protections. But a quick trip to meet and ask for a tour might not be too difficult."

[Anastasia]

"Well yes, you can't disobey the king unless he's a wicked tyrant," Emily admits, then with a hopeful look, "Is he?"
