You can recall a few things about Water.

1. The Padisha's palace is said to have doors that lead to nowhere, or doors that vanish behind you or before your eyes. Genie magic, the magic of illusion and deception, of reality being flexible.
2. Some marid texts refer to portals as doors, albeit this isn't something unique to the marid. It is archaic, as the term portal long, long ago became dominant.
3. Less unique to water and more general, you recall stories of the Infinite Stair, Vivantha speaking of how hidden doors to it can be found everywhere, if one has the knowledge and wisdom to find them.

You recall that the efreet do not fear war. They came from a tribal stock united by the Crimson Firebrand, war was common in the long ago days before the City of Brass. The elementals care little of war, pursuing it against Water when they can but being largely apathetic or alien to most lines of thought. Lesser residents like the azer may or may not fear war, but more often may due to how they're used as fodder by the dominant efreet. Finally, the slaves the efreet sell into the Blood War tend to fear war, you've heard.

There are lakes and even waterfalls in Air, they're unusual but as Air and Water aren't opposed, they can happen. Storms and rain do happen in Air, the rarer part is finding enough solid ground to support such a thing. Still, they do exist and exist far more close to the border between Air and Ice, where most of the lakes are frozen, but they can be plentiful. So you'd need to do more research here or narrow it down.

Finally, the good thing is that most creatures on Earth eat gems, metals or rocks. Some evil elementals and evil Xorn pick up a taste for flesh, and dragons who lair here are notable exceptions and still enjoy meat. The dao do as well, though they don't need to eat at all. Fortunately, most wild creatures here eat the above rather than flesh, so it does tend to narrow things down a lot.

Moore paces around the room -- well, flutters, but he goes around in a few circles as he thinks.

"I can think of a few things. Instead of worrying about all four, let's simply go in order for right now." Moore says. "So with that, let's start with water. The Padisha's palace is said to have doors, more like... mm. It's spatial illusions and deceptions. I... if there was a piece of it there, I'd imagine it'd be in the Padisha's hands, so I'm wondering if that's where it is at all." He says before he continues.

"Marid used to refer to portals as doors, but as that isn't something entirely unique to them, I don't think it has any bearing on our discussion. Last, but I remember a colleague of mine from Aurora talking about the Infinite Stair, which is something that you can potentially find the door to everywhere, if you know how to look. I... suppose it's possible there's a door to the Infinite Stair somewhere in Water that has a piece, but... mm." He shakes his head.

"My gut tells me that if it's in the Padisha's Palace, it may simply go unnoticed, as if it is indeed in multiple parts, someone may just see it as some inert object." Moore explains. "Or, it could be guarded, and the door to it difficult to find. ...I suppose it's also possible it's merely there behind a door no one knows to look for. What do you think?" He asks.

Xandra exhales at that, quill put away. "I think we had best hope the Padisha views us favorably for attacking the efreet. It's the most plausible of those that it's hidden in the Padisha's Palace."

"Don't worry about that. I happened to have been part of diplomatic relations with the Padisha from Aurora, and from a brief time before you joined us." Moore says with a smile. "It shouldn't be any issue for us to either be able to explore or get her personal assistance. I'll have a message sent to them to see if they can receive us. Would you mind accompanying me there?"

Anastasia

"I will follow you," Xandra agrees. "Speak the word."

"It's easy enough to travel to their point of entry and easy enough to get back if she's busy." Moore says. He makes a few quick gestures.

Planar Tolerance on himself and Xandra, CL19, then Greater Plane Shift to the Padisha's Palace. I think it just takes you to a receiving room, which is fine.

Anastasia

You appear in a room. A comfortable room free of water, a sitting room suitable for a noble's mansion. You've been here before, a single bottle of wine laid out with glasses on the table before you.

Yet you barely have a chance to see them before a marid clears his throat. A marid with a polite smile, easy and natural. He is clad in a uniform of light blue, medals decorating his chest, a gleaming salad of color. He wears a slender circlet of coral. "I am Shahzada Badahur Paria," He says to Xandra, a moment's look to her. "We meet again, Moore. Congratulations on your recent ennobling."

Moore offers a deep bow in greeting. "Thank you for your kind words. Please forgive the sudden arrival." A smile to Xandra and then back. "I have come to request an audience with the Padisha. In this capacity, you may see the request as coming from an agent of Celestia." Moore says.

Also, if you'd be so kind as to remind me what the other Padisha titles are, I would appreciate it.

Moore can take 10 on K:L (Water) for 86 to come up with some new ones too.

Anastasia

Such titles as Maharaja of the Waves, Emir of All Currents, Pearl of the Sea and so forth. I can go into more detail if you need more.

"Ah. Of course, the Padisha is already aware of the clashes between Celestia, the Cauldron and the Efreet." The Shahzada says, "The Padisha will see you about that, then."

No, that's good, thank you.

Moore nods. "Thank you."

Anastasia

"Are you ready to go now, or do you need a chance to refresh yourself?" The Shahzada asks.

"We can go now." Moore answers.

The Padisha's throne room is full. Marid and other functionaries are all about amid the waters - and on a throne of pearls, looming high into great waves of them, sits the Padisha.

"Oh Great Padisha! I bring to you Duke Moore of Celestia," The Shahzada declares, kneeling before the throne, voice carrying in Aquan.

Voices murmur, watery ripples of gossip spreading about. Brightly dressed lords and ladies whisper amid themselves, a torrent of noise.
