Family Reunion

[Anastasia]

You follow past the deck, a path taking you into the nearby forest. Emily perks up, "Oh, is this...?" she hurries ahead, and around a bend. A moment later she cries, "Oh! It is! Alyssa and everyone, come quick!

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa follows, enjoying the walk.

[Anastasia]

Ahead is a circle of trees, ten in total. Each one has crystalline growths of a different color emerging from it - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, black, white and pink.

Emily's smiling, "Go on, tap one of the trees!"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa taps on the violet one... The color of royalty, naturally.

[Anastasia]

An array of purple lights fill the grove, a beauty of colors that enthralls you. At the same time a deep, reflective melody of flutes and violins is heard, coming from the trees themselves.

"Music and a color show? Impressive magic," Jarem opines.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I may have to ask for some cuttings..."

[Anastasia]

"What sorcery is this?" Ianvasah frowns, murmuring a few words of magic. She studies the trees, "W-what? Impossible!"

Jarem glances over, "Possible. I'm sure Morwel or whomever made this knows more than you do."

[Iron Dragoon]

"You did just discover magic beyond the ninth, so..."

Alyssa shrugs.

[Anastasia]

Emily laughs, "Try another one! Jarem, try one!"

Jarem smiles indulgently, "Sure, Princess," he says, rapping his knuckle against the orange tree. A lively, horn based melody is played as orange lights spread amid the circle of trees.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa taps the red one.

[Anastasia]

Beautiful organ music fills the air as red lights sweep over everything.

"The music changes if you concentrate on something," Emily says, "You can make virtually any music here you can dream of."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Oh..  Hmm.."

Alyssa touches the red, then purple trees, focusing on a symphony and the laughter and joy of the fey.

[Anastasia]

A chorus of happy, laughing voices follows as multicolored lights fill the grove. Emily claps along while Jarem murmurs, "Catchy."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Yes... I may very well have to ask for cuttings or find a way to reproduce this..."

[Anastasia]

"It's also a bit of a sidetrip," Jarem says, "It's incredible, but if we linger we'll be here all week."
