"Aha," she nods. "Okay, lets go back to the surface now and we can try that hall we saw near the centre." Thus Alicia leads them back up to do that.

[Anastasia]

This is unremarkable, except the surface has a problem. Now dozens of scorpions are raging around, from house sized to dragon sized, making a proper wreck of everything.

Syala just smiles, "So the future is now and the future is crushing vermin?"

"We'd better," Alicia agrees, checking with arcane sight if they have temporal substitution active as they prepare for battle.

[Anastasia]

They do not. They're 'merely' giant scorpions.

"These aren't protected so just go wild," Alicia tells Marie and Syala, growing larger herself as she wades into battle!
