"It would be rather counter-productive," Seira agrees. "As for the challenge, yes, I believe a military strategy game was mentioned in passing?"

[Anastasia]

"I do," The dragon says, uttering words of profound magic. Before you is an illusion, of a battlefield writ small. "A challenge of strategy and tactics, to lead your army to victory against my own."

[Corwin]

"What are the win parameters, other than total annihilation of the other side?"

[Anastasia]

"Victory, it need not be absolute, but the other force must be defeated, shattered or out maneuvered." Is the answer you get.

[Corwin]

So no capture the flag engagement, or base defense. "How about making it a three-way engagement?" she proposes, glancing over at Alicia. "Or even larger, if others are interested in pitching in?"

[Ebiris]

"I'm sure we can all help but one person would need to ultimately be in command of our side. Taking too long discussing our choices would be its own problem when decisive action is called for," Alicia says, waiting to see what sort of forces they're to work with.

[Anastasia]

On a glance, it looks like a thousand soldiers - infantry, some pikemen, archers, small aerial squads of griffon riders and spell support. Both sides are evenly matched and the terrain is an open plain, but with occasional rocks and boulders that give some cover and natural features.

[Corwin]

Seira reviews the casters, to see if they're capable of meaningfully reshaping the battlefield.

[Anastasia]

They're capable of third circle spells and have a selection from offensive to shaping the battlefield, but no depth - just lots of variety.

"Hmph," The dragon says, "Tilting your odds in your favor that way, are you?"

[Corwin]

"There's that, and there's how we don't really fight each other for obvious reasons. It might be fun to do it in a game, though!"

[Anastasia]

"Hmph. Fine. Who will play?" The dragon asks.

[Corwin]

"I would like to command one of the armies," Seira gives the obvious response, before glancing over at her companions.

[Ebiris]

Alicia would've liked to since she's a war goddess and all, but she'll support Seira. She's not interested in mucking things up with a three-way battle, especially when she'd be naturally inclined to go easy on Seira and focus on Scandamalonax. "In that case we'll support you, Seira."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods to Alicia. "It's probably not fair for me to offer my services of inspiration in this sort of situation, but I'll support you however I can." He adds.

[Anastasia]

"Likewise," Antenora says, as Oberuth goes to stand behind Seira in a show of support.

"All of you aiding Seira," The wyrm declares, "Acceptable."
