Well... Demi-plane is being worked on... So I guess the Melweather thing or money. A quick meeting with Delaize and Madala to give them a heads up on maybe, possibly leaving wouldn't be out of sorts.

[Anastasia]

Getting Delaize and Madala together is simple and...

[Iron Dragoon]

"What I'm about to tell you doesn't leave this room. Period. Agreed?"

[Anastasia]

Delaize nods quietly, "I understand."

Madala scowls slightly but nods, "Fine."

[Iron Dragoon]

"The first leads to the second, which is far more important."

She takes a breath, "There are spies on the council. I'm not sure who, but I know for a fact that they are selling information. I also know for a fact that they mean no true harm; I imagine it's simple greed. Regardless, they are there, which is why my second piece of business can't leave the three of us. If it does, I'll know one of you two are selling information, and I will remove you myself."

[Anastasia]

Delaize nods simply, no other response given.

Madala frowns, "Of course, greed is universal. So is stupidity," she says, "Worry not, I'm not the one selling things regardless."

[Iron Dragoon]

"The second thing... I might have to leave the Order for a time. I hope not permanently."

[Anastasia]

"Why?" Madala says, right to the point, "After all you've done to change things, you want to leave?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"No, I do not want to leave. I might have to leave. My own divinations have revealed that this... issue with Shar will only escalate. Likely into open warfare. I'm powerful, beyond anything anyone imagined I would be, but... I can't defend an entire plane. Especially not when there are conflicting factions in the plane. Could you imagine what the Mageocracy's response would be if I tried to cast anything across the entire world? I'm not sure I can fight against Shar, but I know I can't do it if I have to defend an entire plane also."

[Anastasia]

"Wise."

It's Delaize that says that, "Disagreeable but wise."

"Bullshit," Madala snaps, "You come to us, do so much and change so many things, and you're now turning tail and running?!"

[Iron Dragoon]

"I'm pivoting to a conflict that's beyond anything I imagined. I haven't made a final decision yet, and I still have options to explore, but unless you know of a way to stop an incursion backed by a god? I might not have a choice if anyone here wants to live."

[Anastasia]

"Then I'll damn well find one," Madala rises curtly at that, "Excuse me." She turns to go, Delaize watching without comment.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I don't recall dismissing you, advisor."

[Anastasia]

Madala ignores that, back turned to you as she marches out.
