Meeting the wanderer

[Anastasia]

"A plane? You mean an entire plane?" The Professor pauses at that, then laughs, "Why, that's easy! Be a deity and control your own realm!"

[Iron Dragoon]

"... Without that, as I am not a deity."

[Anastasia]

"...Impossible," he finally says, "A mage can affect feet, yards or even miles. An entire plane? Impossible with the Weave as we know it. Perhaps Mystra could, but then, she is already Mystra."

[Iron Dragoon]

"... What about... Something that doesn't rely on the mage's strength? Could we do... An amplification and expansion loop? Set a circle that's a certain size, that draws power in from both the plane and whatever mages put in, then uses it to expand?"

[Anastasia]

"If you can, it's beyond my magic," the Professor says, simply and firmly. "Wise I may be, but you seek things beyond my knowledge."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa looks disgruntled.

"The search continues, then. Thank you for your help, Professor. When I have more time, we'll return to continue."

[Anastasia]

"Until that day," he says, and from there...

[Iron Dragoon]

Yeppers.

[Anastasia]

Once you return Lord Melweather, "Thank you, Alyssa," he says again, "You have a home here, whenever you wish to return."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Thank you for the offer, it really does mean a lot to me. I do have a proposition for you. I'd like to discuss buying my childhood home, in perpetuity, at some point."

[Anastasia]

What is your childhood home in more detail? Matters.

[Iron Dragoon]

We never went into it. I'm imaging some small cabin type thing on a some corner of the land. A personal blacksmith is a pretty important position, but still a peasant, so I figure it'd be like.. 3 rooms max, and near to the manor, but probably hidden out of the way. Maybe in some trees or something? I dunno?

[Anastasia]

"It's yours," Lord Melweather says, "It's a trifling and it's your home, you've more than earned it with your help."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Thank you. My parents will love that it'll stay in the family and they'll be able to visit."

[Anastasia]
