"They'd better not. Adults don't get any smarter as they get older," Calley says, "They just get older."

Abrupt.

A hug to your side, Calley giving you a brief one, "Thanks."

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Ebiris

She pats Calley's head as she's hugged, smiling gently. "It's not age that gives us wisdom, it's experience. Some fit more into a year than others do in a lifetime... and I don't just mean violent experience like your mother flourished in. There's opportunities to grow and learn in all things, for those with eyes to see."

Anastasia

"Then we all need to gain experience," Calley agrees, letting go.

"So do that," Alicia plucks the resting coure off her head to let Dawnhope flutter in the air once more. "Dawnhope will help you."

Anastasia

Dawnhope startles, "Ah!" she cries.

""I will," Calley agrees, "There's still a lot to see and experience." He turns and goes at that, leaving you be.

Alicia lets him go and returns to her own business.

Has Kecasandarenala done anything since arriving in Sylica?

Anastasia

Kecasandarenala seems to be studying the horizon from his icy perch, taking it all in. On occasion he gets up and flies around a bit, a short but idle flight, stretching his wings, perhaps.

Yet as you check in, you see the dragon glare at a spot about 400ft down, rock tumbling away to reveal a raw vein of mithral. He flies down and hovers before it, studying it intently. A soft puff of his breath polishes it at once, stone and impurities running away and oozing down the mountain. It leaves the metal worked and pure, shining bright.

He looks like he's having fun, and that's good enough for Alicia. This isn't Mineral, she won't begrudge someone digging up some mithral out of Sylica with their own effort.

Back to reactive pose it is.

Anastasia

It's not long until Syala's voice is in your mind. 'Look towards Kecasandarenala, Alicia. He's busy.'

Alicia has another look at what the dragon's up to!

Anastasia

On the very tip-top of the mountain a floor is extending hundreds of feet in every direction. Mixed bands of clear, painfullly bright blue-tinted ice mix with bands of polished mithral, assembling before the dragon's eyes. Despite balancing on a tiny peak-tip of rock, the floor looks to be entirely stable, magic around it ensuring it doesn't fall.

Ebiris

'It does look like he's making himself at home,' Alicia's voice is sent back to Syala. 'Lets go and say hello, in that case.'

Anastasia

'Together,' Syala agrees, as the two of you appear as the dragon works, magic expanding the floor, mithral and ice coming from piles of it below.

With her presence unhidden, Alicia floats down towards where Kecasandarenala stands. "Welcome to Sylica, Kecasandarenala," she says. "It looks like freedom agrees with you."

Anastasia

"I adore the wind," The wyrm agrees, turning nimbly in the air. "But a mere mountain is not enough. A mountain atop a mountain shall do better."

Syala smiles faintly, "No half measures for you?"
