"Let's bring Amaryl's avatar into the fold, then," Seira responds immediately. To Kascha, she thinks, It seems there are other shortcuts in play, so we'll look for them to help you once you're at that stage yourself.

"We can resolve that once we're done here," Chrona 42 says, "Now, are you ready to continue?"

<Afina> Forever.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"Yes, please," Seira agrees, looking forward to it!

Ahead lies the tower itself. The gate looks solid.

The gate looks solid.

The gate looks solid.

Your eyes can somehow see many gates at once, as if they were stacked on each other somehow.

"Is time being repeated here? Duplicated?" Seira asks uncertainly.

"Repeated carefully in another loop, a paradox of sorts," Chrona 42 explains, "It's harmless to touch if you want to try it more closely."

Seira does want to check, but not through a touch. She forces her mind to single out one of the iterations of the gate and attempts to disintegrate it.

It feels - good. Right. Again you feel a part of magic that just wasn't there, as the gate becomes one with a shift.

"Well done," Chrona 42 says, "A relatively simple problem to solve."

Seira smiles at him, and proceeds inside.

A simple path within, an empty floor with four stairs going up, each in a cardinal direction.

The stairway to the north is made of gold and looks otherwise normal.

The stairway to the south is made of stone and is difficult to look at.

The stairway to the east is made of paper and seems to loop higher and higher the longer you look at it.

The stairway to the west is made of dust and dirt.

Seira focuses on the southern stairway with all her mental strength! "Time magic can play with your perceptions to hide something?" she asks with surprise. "Partially, rather than erase it from perception altogether?"

It just seems not there, different. Time isn't right there somehow, hitches and hiccups instead of solid movement.

"What would happen if one were to step there?" Seira muses, summoning a dog and having it ascend the stairs.
