Turns out that's exactly where he's going, into it and to the stairs within there.

Not much she can do about that so she'll choose to linger here outside the desecrated area to monitor who all comes and goes from it.

The elf returns about 10 minutes or so later, going back upstairs as before.

He promptly goes outside and heads towards the back - just a bit away, towards a small stream. A rather chilly stream, as you'd expect for the weather around here.

Marie keeps on following, she's not got anything better to do.

Off goes the loin cloth and a rather unremarkable washing up follows.

You seem to have people getting naked around you a lot today. How odd. As you ponder that, the elf puts the loincloth back on and heads inside, getting himself a glass of wine and sitting back in a formal sitting room for now, simply enjoying the quiet of night and a good drink, perhaps.

She should meet up with Ebony some time and compare notes, the rumours say she has a similar problem.

Anyway, he's the only person active in the mansion so Marie will stick to him, unseen but all-seeing!

He drinks for perhaps 10 more minutes, taking it in. He then goes upstairs and dresses in a plain elven tunic and breeches, then comes downtstairs again. He waits just outside a side door - and soon enough a figure approaches. He is tall - broad, big, muscled. A cloak covers his form, but the sheer size of him suggests a massive warrior at the least. His pace is strong and powerful, approaching as the elf kneels, head bowed in submission.

Marie sneakily watches and listens to what then transpires. Could this be the elusive Dragodan?

"Is it ready?" The cloaked man's voice is surprisingly soft spoken.

"Yes, honored shadow," Is the answer, "Come with me."

[Ebiris]

Probably going to go into that desecrated area which limits her ability to eavesdrop, but she does have extremely good hearing for a little while thanks to sensual blessing so she might still hear conversation all the way down those stairs if she lingers at the edge.

Either way, she'll follow them as long as it's safe.
