[Anastasia]

A few sniffles throughout, "S-so you just think it's him? You don't know, you just think it's Medi?"

[Nephrite]

"I know it's him." Moore says. "I have absolutely no doubt in my mind of who it is. I even received some divine confirmation on the subject."

[Anastasia]

"Who? How?" Elena asks, "Who confirmed it? Who?!"

[Nephrite]

"I went on a bit of a sojourn after I saw him to Solania." Moore explains. "Pistis Sophia was kind enough to tell me that what my soul told me about the truth was what I could believe."

[Anastasia]

"Tell me more!" Elena sniffles, "Why? How? Why hasn't he come back yet?!"

[Nephrite]

"I don't think he can." Moore says. "I have no idea how he came back, and I don't know if he'd tell me if I asked. He... might, but..." He shakes his head. "Well, I'll ask the next time I see him. I'll also ask him point blank if he has the ability to come back here."

He clears his throat. "Anyway, the reason I say I don't think he can is he's been... very specific in what he's done with me so far. He's been extremely cagey about details about who he's working with or what he can do. He's more or less said with no uncertain terms that he can't interfere in certain things, so... I have a feeling he's under some sort of clause to not take certain actions."

[Anastasia]

"Oh...oh...that has to be why." Elena says, then looks you in the eye, "Moore, you're going to find him and bring him here, no matter what you have to do for that."

[Nephrite]

Moore offers her a sincere smile. "I promise I will."

A breath in and then out. "Would you mind trying to help me recreate the circumstances of my research into Benfal? I think... well, I don't think I can do it exactly, but I wonder if we happen to redo it, if... well, if maybe we'll figure something out."

[Anastasia]

A lightning fast nod, "I'd be glad to, Moore. Just tell me how."

[Nephrite]

"I... well, I don't know." He admits. "...I remember I was doing research in the library, that much at least I can't debate. I don't... remember seeing you while doing it, but... how about this, just keep an eye on me while I'm doing the research again, and... I don't know, just focus on remembering. Maybe that's the key -- if we know there's something we shouldn't forget, maybe we'll both... remember?" A shake of his head. "I don't know how it works, but I'm determined."

[Anastasia]

"Alright!" Elena says, "We'll do this for Sir Medi's sake!"

Okay, plan here?

[Nephrite]

He's going to just try and replicate as much as he can on research into Benfal.

With that in mind, he'll go back to whatever he wrote originally (surely, some notes survived the anathemic knowledge)

Hours pass like nothing. You read, read and read some more.

You don't remember what you read. No. It isn't important. You read, more and more and more and more. There is a pattern, a reason, something. The books speak to you. Aurora sings to you.

"I watched Medi study, just like this." Elena is sitting next to you, a small smile as she looks to you. She seems content, at ease, wearing a simple gown. "He never gave up. Aurora never gives up. I miss him, but Aurora is worthy of Medi's legacy."

You feel close to something. You ignore Elena for a reason you can't elaborate and you keep reading. Your mind shudders. Something's wrong, something's wrong - again and again and again - !
