In the distance you hear a scream and then Jessica's voice, "You have your warning - surrender or perish from the shadows."

The soldiers still alive visibly startle at that scream but hold as Sanzha looks on in disapproval, "Cowards," she says in a single word of contempt, "Hiding behind slaves?" With a snap of her fingers the chains of the slaves come undone as she walks forward into them. "Flee," she commands them, slaves crying out, several stumbling away, chaos in the front.

"D-demon! Monster!" One dao screams, the blood of his comrade splattered across his face and chest. He stumbles away from Alicia, "W...we can't fight this!"

Not that the elementals care, but several of the dao throw down their weapons, or others turn to flee.

"It-it's as bad as facing Zaaman Rul or Seira!" ANother blurts out as the elementals turn, several of them lumbering towards Alicia.

Then you warp forward, past all of this. Down the next passage are a small group of dao barring the way, a shorter dao listening as he says, "It doesn't matter, we have to -!"
