Are the various allies or a definition for what passes as one listed? And what are the penalties for breaking it wholesale? What about if someone (a dao noble or Donald, say) breaks it on their own initiative?

Finally, there is no mention of outlawing possession of new slaves?

"I have several issues with the phrasing, and with one of the terms," Seira muses, "though the Sylica aspect will require us to reconvene after I've checked with Alicia and Syala, so it would be best to leave such clarifications for a later date."

"We can put that aside until last," The Great Khan agrees, slowly rubbing his mustache. "What is it you object to and what clarification do you need?"

Meanwhile Valar glances at Moore and quietly, "I've heard, but you know Crystalle that well?"

Moore offers Valar a small shrug at that and a smile.

[Corwin]

"I meant that I believe I should convene with Sylica's leadership before proceeding further," Seira clarifies. "Since I don't want to speak for them, their answer may well shift negotiations, perhaps to the point of changing some of the other sections. For a treaty that endures a century, I would want to be thorough from the start and do it right."

[Anastasia]

"How long would you need?" The Great Khan asks, "I have no objection to that."

[Corwin]

"I'd better contact all our allies to ensure they're onboard, so let's reconvene in a week's time," Seira proposes, glancing over at Moore. "Does that sound alright to Celestia?"

[Nephrite]

"Yes, that should be fine." Moore says.

[Anastasia]

"Unacceptable," The Great Khan says, "A week is an excessive amount of time for this. A day should more than suffice."

[Corwin]

"I disagree. While contacting our allies can be done swiftly, it shows us as weak and desperate. That will raise the price of their concessions to an unacceptable degree."

[Anastasia]

"Then I would like a cease fire until we meet again and one day after," The Great Khan replies, two fingers tapping the table, a soft thunk-thunk.

[Corwin]

"Acceptable."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods himself.

[Anastasia]

The Great Khan rises, offering you his hand, "Then I agree to that."
