It gives you blindsight 200ft but it doesn't explicitly see through things. You do have all around vision as well, though.

I forget, does true seeing help with stuff like that?

Either way, that's fine, let's go.

It doesn't help with mundane fog or the like.

Up the party flies - out of a great, low, roiling bank of steam. Below you is a sea of steam, hissing and bright. Fire is around you, save for rends where it is not. Water pours in, spilling everywhere, each one wrapped in an armored cloak of steam from the mere act of Water entering Fire. Below you, in the gaps you can see, you see great,  uneven volcanic rocks, surfaces being forged together and split every moment, constant creation from the war before you.

"Well, we can't avoid the steam, but let's see if we can find somewhere where it isn't as bad." Moore says as he continues forward. "We're looking for a house, apparently... but who knows where it is. We'll just have to be on the lookout for notable things."

[Anastasia]

"I understand this goes down and down," Jetina calls over the winds and the hissing, "Could it be deeply buried?"

"Eyes open, we can work on that after we understand the surface," Kaja calls.

[Nephrite]

Moore nods. "Let's keep going and keep an eye out, then."

Basically just looking for anything they can spot between the steam, or that looks interesting.

It's like uneven towers of volcanic rock that have half melted into each other, forming a plateau of sorts.One ever building, ever growing as Water and Fire wage war. It goes a great distance in every direction, miles and miles.

As you take all of this in, it is Kaja who calls, "Look!" From the east you see it - several magic carpets and a flying chariot, efreet on most of them and spare space loaded with wrapped bundles of various shapes and sizes.

Are they going away from them?

"If they really want a fight..." Moore says quietly.

If they're going to come, we're going to spend time buffing! Or at least Moore is going to do some singing.

[Anastasia]

"If," Cresiel agrees, readying his hammer.

Xandra does the same, "Not here, not now," she says, "They are not hostile, Moore."
